What happened to sandspit? This wave use to throw 5 second barrels and now it breaks like every other point wave within 30 minutes. Glad I went to Campus it was better shape and saw more barrels believe it or not.
Its not the spot its the swell. Most spots were junky on thursday including campus. Yeah there were a couple nice barrels here and there but not enough.
@@TheBroLounge today was cleaner up the coast. But honestly I haven’t seen footage or seen sandspit break as good as it used to in 10-15 years. Edit: I’m totally taking back what I said. I just pulled up the hurricane video. It was 100 percent working that swell.
@@k0harmerI’ve never seen it break on a south swell due to island blockage. The best I’ve seen it was some freak dead west wind event like 10 years ago

Well, it can also be the spot. A lot of sand/sediment has moved in the last couple weeks.
