It's a shame we couldn't get more games in this style that, at the very least, went up to the end of the pain arc, I personally like these more than what we got with storm.
I love the Storm games, but I do miss the 2D style. I mean technically we did get the Pain Arc in Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 on PSP which covered all of Shippuden up till Pain in this style, but still.
Naruto Ultimate Ninja 4 was probably was my favourite opening. It had the action, the heavy guitar,the bad ass rift and half way through the music takes a softer tone. It really fit well, especially for representing such awesome shipuuden episodes. Fighting Itachi was a bitch and I kept dying cause of his sharingan. (It made you move slower in an area) but the best games are the ones that make your work harder to beat them. Overall, a great game. The free roaming was fun too.

Crazy to think the Original Ultimate Ninja Series gave almost all characters a new moveset every game. It may not seem like much but seeing Naruto evolve through out 1-3 is pretty noticeable. He starts off just using a few clones and Harem Jutsu in 1 to later have like 50 clones and Rasangan in 5.

I played the first 4 (5 sadly never came out in the US T_T) and they are the greatest Naruto games of all time. If you have a PS2 I cannot recommend these enough, especially Ultimate Ninja 3 and 4, and 5 if you can get it.

I think Ultimate Ninja 2 deserves some credit considering they made Itachi look badass and I like that Kisame Shot. The music was good too. The game is super underrated. For me, its either Ultimate Ninja 2 or 5 that has the best openings.
i have played naruto ultimate ninja storm 3 and i can say that the open world mode in naruto ultimate ninja 4 is better than naruto ultimate ninja storm if they could make the fights in the same way
The Ultimate Ninja 2 opening is the most iconic for me since it was the first game of the series I played, and it seems to have set the "base" for the openings of all the other games. I wish the art style of Ninja Storm was like these games. Kind of a shame.

I think what threw me for a loop is that they took the opening to Ultimate Ninja 1 and made it the second opening for the dub version. That's insane. LMAO.
So the first three Ultimate Ninja games (1,2 & 3) are focused on OG Naruto series and the last two Ultimate Ninja games (4 & 5) are focused on Naruto Shippuden. Seems Legit.
Remembered when I was playing those Characters They still my favorite 1st one is Itachi of course then sasuke , kisame ,orochimaru and tayuya man they are my favorite and each time I play Itachi my brothers were like Noo Change the character we wont play with u if you r going to use itachi cuz he has the Tsukuymi Mode and I wasnt using this mode until I have like 30% Health but the worst thing is when you use that mode you'll be losing your health but your enemy will be slow af xD I then when Madara Uchiha appeard he took Kisame's place ;p
I just wish CC2 would come out with a Ultimate Ninja PS2 collection on PS4, or even PS5 when that comes out. The only problem is that Ultimate Ninja 5 never got a NA release so they'd have to go through with adding subtitles.

when I look back on the ultimate ninja series, I get so happy... On the contrary the ultimate ninja storm series is horribly mind disappointing. Should have continued with 2d fighting style, combos are very limited😢
