Not just battery tech, but the display tech is freaking amazing. So is the cameras and color science. One plus killed the game this year. There is better than anything coming out this year. Idk what pixels are doing yet? But it killed Samsung in all ways.
@@katinasoutherland7693 you say they killed the game they literally just came out with the new sd 8 elite chip at the end of the year 2024/2025 and other major US Global players have even hit the scene yet, heck the redmagic 10 pro US version to me has barring the major updates has a helluva uninterrupted display with a 7050 mah battery in almost a smaller body size that Samsung 25 ultra will copy in looks. There are so many other devices that have not dropped yet, so I can't claim it to be one of the phones of the year yet
@dextercumberbatch4334 I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and I would have to agree that Samsung is lacking in the battery improvement!! They have not improved on their finger print sensor and just the fun things that people would love to see in a phone! One Plus seems to bring attention to what people truly love!! Battery life, Finger Print Sensor technology, and great quality screen features!! I would also put in that One Plus is killing it with the storage capacity with 16 Gigs of Ram and 512 Megabytes of storage!!
6hrs and you had 47% left? Now Im super hyped for the Oneplus Open 2. Last OP i had was the 7 pro. Loved that device then jumped to apple. The walled garden has me fatigued now I want to rock android again but It has to be a foldable. I like the Open 1 but I wish it was thinner. The open 2 will hopefully be thinner if leaks are accurate. My other concern is how fast the battery degrades over time with normal use and healthy charging habits
That aqua touch 2.0 is real handy While I work on bikes my hand usually gets wet, oily or I wear gloves So it hard to use the phone when in this state I wish apple Samsung and google will work something out !
Such a beautiful date to record the video. I see what you did there. Jan 13th = 1.13 = kinda like 1+13. 😊😊. Would even be better if it was recorded on 1.13 am in the morning
My OnePlus 8T was an amazing phone. I still have it in brand new condition...only drawback was camera and video camera. The rest of the phone was solid as fuck
Curious, what apps are you using mostly? I ended yesterday on around 18% with around 6.5 SOT. But, it was mostly recording reviews and YT so pretty heavy usage.
Agreed, I'd rather be out doing something fun than spending all my time on my phone. However, I'm a legally blind low vision professional and I use my smartphone for practically everything. This includes calling for rides, shopping, everyday tasks and navigating the city sized University campus that I work on. Therefore, battery life is everything to me. To that end, I traded my OnePlus 12 for the 13. Normally, I wouldn't consider upgrading this soon but, I felt the design changes on the 13 would greatly benefit me. I loved my 12 and the classy look of the curved glass but, it's not as functional as a flat screen. Especially, since I use TalkBack via the Android accessibility suite to navigate my device. In fact, there are many custom swipes and gestures involved with the process. Oftentimes I'd find myself swiping 3 or 4 times before it would take. I never struggled with those issues using the flat screen on my old 8T. Hence, the purchase of the 13. In short, problem solved.
are you checking the OnePlus tracking? For me OnePlus still says it's in Cali but I got it days ago. USPS tracking was wayyy better (idk who's handling ur shipping though)
Samsung, Google and Apple need to catch up to the Chinese companies when it comes to battery technology.

I never had the 13 Pro Max, but my wife did and her battery was crazy good. How come apple hasn't been able to recapture that glory you think?
Could u imagine a new iphone with a 6000 MAH battery? Would be nuts
@JoshsWayOfLife that might do it!
@@AllLove0307 heck, the 16pm isn't even 5000. They are purposely not going to large on the battery to ensure people never upgrade again or seems like
@@JoshsWayOfLife I think they're newer chips require more power, I think. They're gonna have to go 5k

I've been online for 3 or 4 days and yes that battery is insane
I just got the 13 and 2R, coming from the 8T. I'm all about watching the tips and tricks vids
One Plus 13 battery is way way way way better than my Motorola edge 2024
Oneplus 13 seems great I did just ordered mine currently have a pixel 9 pro xl let’s see which one I keep lol
im on an iPhone but considering switching to a OnePlus 13 or Pixel 9 Pro XL. Let us know how it goes!
I had the Pixel 9 pro XL and sold it to get the One Plus 13. The only thing I miss about the Pixel is their call screening.

Are you using the front facing cam? Without mic??
Hey J, do you normally charge to 80% to preserve battery or always to 100% ?

This video looks very good and I’m loving everything about this phone. I’m actually thinking about switching from IPhone to One Plus

Mine went from still in warehouse to out for delivery in 1 day. The tracking never really updated
@@evenmagical both usps and one plus sur site tracking say delayed in cali sadly
@@guy15124 nice. Fingers crossed
I had the 13 Pro Max and now I’m currently using 15 Pro Max. I must say that battery life and heat management was way better in 13 Pro Max.
Got mine today J I'm in love sir. Great Video as usual sir
Glad you're enjoying it!
Yes J. I am loving this battery life.
Is the OnePlus camera better than the iphone 16 pro max?
BETTER BATTERY 🔋 BETTER PHONE 🤳🏼📱📱📱📱📱📱
J Will!!! The man! The legend!
If you didn't say it or had the watermark we wouldn't know you used the phone camera
My honest opinion is that OPPO 8X .. MUCH BETTER VOLUME AND THE INTERNATIONAL.. GOOD JOB 1 +
Hoping for a restock on the free watch with purchase if that happens I'll order one.
I been looking at getting one
Samsung only offers 45w charging. wtf? I have an S24 +, but I want 80w charging.
Getting one once I've saved money 😂😂
Nice video
🙌🙏
The video looks pretty bad unfortunately.
Must be your phone. That's excellent footage.
