What I am asking myself: Are these miners contracted to re build the forest after they left the cuts? I mean there are HUGE gaps in the nature and nothing will grow there on it's own 🤷🏻♂️🤔Hope someone can answer my question 🙂
Trees will easily regrow the area in a few years. Don't underestimate nature, it can reclaim the land shockingly easily.

@@lorenzpollok2513 In some episodes they mentioned that they have to pay a deposit for reforesting. And if they meet certain standards they get that deposit back. In one episode Rick Ness gets 60 ounces or so back because the owner visited the claim and said the measures Rick took were enough.

Its funny to see what has become of the Discovery channel. Born for science, documentary and history, died into cheap low budget, reality shows.
Yeah .. i remember very early on, it was good documentaries, with slow paced filming that allowed you to enjoy what you were watching. Trying to watch this, i am 100% certian that the shaky and wobbly camera movements is ordered from the authorities to the tv company just to rattle young people's heads so they can't think straight afterwards. Just to mess with people's heads.

Funny thing is, it’s actually a good thing for the land to get mined again currently as the reclamation regs are so heavy-duty all the old unmarked open shafts that are a real danger to both humans and the occasional unlucky critter get dug up and/or covered over as well as cleaning up all the trash left by the old-timers. Amazing what a bunch of slobs people are with regards to nature…I certainly side with the old-time conservationists, as the original miners and loggers didn’t give a flying f*** about leaving things unspoiled for future generations.

Just think of all the gold out there left behind by the miners way back within almost zero equipment to work with. 100 yards of gravel per ounce of gold. Imagine doing that by hand.

it's sad to see how they just destroy nature for greed. they should be forced to Re-establish the entire area, plant new trees and pay for them out of pocket. that would probably make them think twice before going on a brainless excavator spree! i don't mind the fact that they want to find gold. but they should 100% be forced to replant every single tree!

Only way to make a small fortune gold mining is to start out with a large fortune.
That drilling rig is so nice. Use to drill 300 feet and having to work the pipes is a bitch, still better than shoveling mud cause you have to recycle your water. Do that shit for 12 hours a day and you find not a lot of jobs are that hard.
