I moved to Canada when I was 9 and I really miss Kerala it's just different from every other place in India.
I was also 9 when I moved to the US .. after like 23 years, I decided to move to Kerala to stay for two years ... it was a great experience... I quit my job and left .. everybody thought I was crazy, especially back home 😂. I just came back
We have been used to it for 100s of years... We're too close the nature... Animals, bugs, birds and humans live side by side...

Jody.. once again.. such a beautiful soul inside out and looking younger as days go by. The eyelashes and the jewelry complement really good. Jody can give a tough competition to Kerala in terms of scenic beauty haha.. BTW they are coconut trees. And they were eating on banana leafs. Both are very healthy. And personally kerala is doing great with the corona virus (Just 2 deaths and they have pretty much controlled it) because of their experience with the "Nipah" Virus which had a 75% death rate. Watch the trailer for the Malayalam movie "Virus". Its based on the Nipah Virus. You will feel the tension in the air.

You reacted to this at the right moment ! Today keralites are celebrating “Vishu” a famous festival marking the malayalam New Year! There were more than 10-15 cultural dances and art forms depicted in this video. Also Kerala has all kinds of geography- beaches, mountains, backwaters, and so much greenery. The tropical climate helps a lot. Do visit Kerala if you are planning for india trip. Also do some research with other American travel vlogs - check the channels like back 2 life, davidsbeenhere, Mark wiens, etc. they also took one or two kerala vlogger as a guide for their trips in Kerala.

There are few lizards 🦎 and harmless spiders 🕷 living in my house for years I don’t know where they’re coming from neither know where’s it’s going
They’re just there and we don’t mind them
In other hand they eat bugs thus kinda helps like a food chain to keep the echo system I guess
The world is not just ours it’s their too
We need to learn to coexist
The only things we take measures against are the ones that’s harmful to us like mosquitoes or cockroaches etc

But we are not taking that much Measures against mosquito and cockroaches,. We just try to be safe from any epidemic diseases. So we try to controll them from spreading diseases. So even after the measures that we taken against these bugs, still u can see them around in the house.

Yeah there can be many mosquitoes if you are in the coastal/lake region. Another invasive species is mupli beetle but in certain locations in summer season they are harmless, spiders are quite common in Kerala households along with lizards, centipedes. It's a common site to see poisonous snakes mostly Naja Naja (cobra) , kraits, vipers. But to be honest these things are quite harmless and people live with it . I rarely hear about this being a problem to visit Kerala . A good bio diversity is also a good habitat for variety of animals . So Kerala is blessed in that way

Mosquitos are not common but very few areas only for some time.
As a tourist the chances of you getting bit by a mosquito is so low that you wouldn't remember. So bug spray absolutely not required.

Kerala is my true country. I live in America and I visited there at 2009, 2012, 2017, and 2019. We have family there. God's own country. It's absolutely stunning out there!

(Tea plantation you watched in the video) iam near from there if you visit kerala dont forget to visit munnar, if you forgot then you loose one of your good experience.kerala is religious friendly state and you will find temples, churches, muslims prayer places in same place. Also i want to tell you that foreign will not be get bad problems from kerala, expect women's can travel kerala alone you will not get bad experience than any state, . And visit kerala when you visit india. Thank you
Hi 👋 I’m a Malayalee ... I lived in four districts in Kerala and all had some kind of differences, from food to the way the language is spoken.
I'm from Kerala and I live near kumbalanghi if you'll visit try coming on winter December/Jan the climate will be cool and mosquitos will be low + there are not many bugs just the ones that you'll have in your area too (except for mosquitos) cheers

Spices are natural repellent for plants growing in south india , this is why india is rich with spices

Iam from kerala from near munnar you seemed in the video the tea plantion. You will get good experience in kerala than any state, lots of things to do in kerala, and dont forget to visit munnar.
Actually in Kerala bugs are there but don't worry it won't harm u it s full of nature if all these are not there then its not a nature.take a good guide thats right just visit visit at time of march come to Trissure to see trissur pooram if u see this then u guys are Gona say u guys never seen real DJ party come and enjoy its count to be very hot at march.

Of course you (we) do have culture here. It is just a mixture of all the many many cultures. And also, this is a very young country. Only about 300 years old versus you know 3000 years old at least. One day we will get there. In the meanwhile as immigrants we add our culture to the melting pot.
