Imma be honest yes there is maybe a little bit of a graphical difference from a this video to my xbox series s as in fps but graphical wise i would say it is almost the same with some minor little graphical changes. Truly for as much hate as fortnite gets it is a beautiful game.
IT TRUELY is a beautiful game, i run a 4090 at 3440X1440 ' which is rougly 25% harder to run than standard 2k, i use 85% render resolution, shadows on medium, everything else on HIGH with no ray tracing, keeps be stable at a nice 120-160FPS, with some drops here and there in the 80s, fortnite is a game than needs to be run at a stable 100FPS, anything less and it feels choppy
This video makes it even more clear to me that even with all the updates that epic games has put out, players with better hardware will still get a competitive advantage over other players. This guy is playing on max settings with over 60fps, imagine what frame rate he would be getting with the lower settings.
What's the issue? Almost everyone can achieve over 60+ fps with the Performance Mode on. More FPS doesn't give an advantage, only in real competitive situations and the only people who really compete in a professional level, has the hardware to run at these FPS, so again, what's the issue?

problem isnt the frames. Its the fact that pc players can literally disable most visual clutter to nothing. Example being how lights coming inside a building are super bright, but on pc they dont have that issue cause they can disable it completely

If it plays smoothly but stutters on a consistent interval your ram is probably in bad shape or not fast enough. It takes lower CL ram to game smoothly at 4k.
ps5 is 120fps, if you monitor supports it, PS5 is very optimized. But graphics aren't always 4k, it changes depending on the scene, ps5 automatically lower the quality, if there is too much happening at once

If the gpu is already at 100% its impossible the cpu will bottleneck. CPU bottlenecking only happens at lower resolutions like 1080p. Say you're gaming at 1080p high settings with a rtx 4090 in fortnite, and it's only using 50% of the gpu, the maximal fps you are getting are dependent on the CPU because the CPU processes the physics (fps) and game logic. If the GPU is already at 100%, the cpu can't process higher fps (physics etc) because it would overheat the GPU. The gpu is only the bottleneck at higher resolutions such as 4k/1440p because it's the gpu that processes textures etc., and with much more pixels in the textures requires more power.
