Bishop R T Jones Sr, my God. A preaching man. He use to say Get to the Tabernacle. Catch the bus, cab, bike, scooter, . . ., hitch hike if you have to, . . ., But, make your way to the Tabernacle, where the feast of the Lord, is going on! I loved when he would say something piercing to the heart, he would say, "Good Day of the Morning!" I thank God, for the life and legacy of Bishop R T Jones!
WOW, grew up in this Church. I remember the day he died. He walked up to the microphone and said, "I'm not feeling well and my son will Preach this morning" We began to walk away and then he passed out. If I'm not mistaken, it was on Easter Sunday.
