      Thank you for your amazing videos Dr. Rowe. They have been very helpful. Have you considered creating a Spanish version of your channel? I always send your videos to people I know, but they mostly speak Spanish. Your videos are really helpful to us, and I know they will spread if they have a version in our language. There are back pain and muscle care channels in Spanish, but not like this one. Best regards from Colombia, South America.

    My neurologist sent me to PT for my headaches. Didn’t realize my muscles were so knotted up causing my headaches.I’m now getting monthly massages working the knots out (PT gets expensive after a while). But your channel has tremendously helped me! I do your exercise while at my desk and find so much relief!!

    Hi Dr Rowe, I have a question. These exercises seem to bring me relief, but temporary. I have experienced lots of pain in my neck and shoulders for many years in the past doing these type of exercises and or going to the chiropractor seem to help but the past month these just bring temporary relief. What should I do? I’m desperate. The pain starts in neck and goes all the way to my wrist and thumbs.

  • @Lucinda_Jackson
    @Lucinda_Jackson ปีที่แล้ว +1

    When I saw this one come up, I knew I'd be needing it soon, so just left it in my Inbox. I've suffered from chronic migraines for many years - they last weeks and even months, my longest lasting an amazing 6 months! I also suffer from a couple of other varieties of migraines, including cluster headaches which aren't strictly migraines. I had them pretty well under control with a keto/ketovore diet (almost fully carnivore) then backed off my diet. I've been struggling for a few weeks to get back on and STAY back on. You'd think the prospect of years of being pretty much pain-free would certainly outweigh too many carbs and from the wrong sources, but even after 15 years...
    Anyway, my fears were justified and on Sunday I could feel the "iffy, might be a migraine brewing" feeling in my head. Early Monday morning, it hit. Medium strength - severe pain and impaired vision, but no vomiting, etc. Tuesday was moving into full force with blinding pain and nausea, threatening to tip into vomiting, and loss of balance. Then I remembered, through the pain fog, that I had your video!!
    I dragged myself off my bed and grabbed my phone. While I have a series of exercises and movements I usually do, they are just things I've tried over the years on my own with mixed success. I went through your entire repertoire (surprised that many were what I'd worked out, but I'd missed an important twist) slowly and deliberately to give each move its best chance to work. By the time I finished, the migraine had loosened its grip quite a lot and I felt much better. I did my icing afterward and things improved even more. As the day progressed and I did a second round of your exercises and icing, it was all down to a dull roar. Woke up this AM with that same low level, took my meds, did the exercises and icing again, and voilà! No more real pain, just that foggy, hungover feeling of the whole mess lurking in the background, ready to strike again. So far, doing a few of the exercises se to be holding it at bay. The armpit sniffer is particularly good at alleviating the residual feeling.
    Thank you for all you do. You are loved and appreciated by all of us here and, I'm sure, by the lucky patients you see in person. 🩷

    Good thanks a lot. The neck is such a tense and fragile part of the body! You didn't give any advice to relieve the place where my headaches always are, that is to say on a spot between the two eyes, a little bit higher than the eyes. I don't know if this can be achieved through certain exercises? Thanks again!

    Hey doc thanks for this video, just had some instant relief. It actually helped. Side question, could this also help general blood flow to the head and scalp in general improving hair health? I also felt a tingling around my crown area

      Exercises tend to increase blood flow, which is a good thing. Thanks for watching!

    Shalom and Thank you for your Videos.
    Would you have any dealing with/helping the Sacroiliac Joints?
    (Any that help the Pelvic Girdle would also be great...besides the excellent videos that you have already displayed)....

    Should I do these exercises if I suffer from severe cervicogenic headache? I always suffer from tremendous nerve pain from the trapezius to the skull leading to full blown migraine.
    Thank you in advance

    I've had pain for years in both of the sternocleidomastoid muscles and both of the occipitalis as well. I've got a lot of pain in the levator scapulae as well. The entire mastoid process is in consistent discomfort too.Turning my head to the left or right with my fingers joined together being held at the base of the skull and pressing in with the thumb helps. However; due to major trauma to the head and neck years ago didn't help. Applying heat helps and then following your instructions really helps!

    You're amazing, this is so helpful and easy to follow. I get tension headaches at least once a week and hey often turn into a migraine. I didn't feel as relaxed and flexible as I do after following the exercises for a very long time. Thank you
