I know im asking randomly but does anyone know a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost the password. I would love any help you can give me!
@Lyric Dakota thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im trying it out atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
It was my daughters idea to pick that song. And she’s the one who’s recording me. If you also notice she has the hiccups you can even see the camera shake a few times, and even hear her hiccup once.
Well I suppose it depends on your definition of watery. how about if you pull a FEW double shots into a measuring cup and see how many ounces you end up with. You can always use that coffee by freezing it and then make an extremely yummy iced coffee or Frappuccino; so it won’t go to waste. Each shot is 30 ML, and thus, a double shot is 60 ML. That works out to roughly 1 ounce per shot, 2 ounce for a double shot. But in your case, since you’re trying to confirm the water ratio, use the milliliter side of your measuring cup so you are more accurate.
Again, I am not an expert by any means, but what I have learned is that the packing of the coffee grinds (a good tamp as it is called) creates resistance (with evenly compacted coffee) that makes the brewing water work hard to saturate the grounds and extract all of that great coffee flavor. And vice-versa, if you have soft spots then the water would simply run down those channels faster.
The science behind having perfect coffee EXTRACTION is tamping the coffee inside the portofilter bout 30Lb to reduce spaces between the coffee grinds ,plus having a flat surface will result good water distribution
I have been experimenting and 8 oz I originally bought for the cappuccino, although it can fit, you end up right up to the rim and it is just too stressful trying not to spill. So just a few days ago I went and bought another set, this time 9 oz. Here is what I bought and so far so good: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H562C4W and for the latte I had bought the 15 oz: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01K7MX8FY
I ordered this like two weeks ago, the machine is awesome but I realized that the milk is not throwing the same amount of milk like the first day, did you experienced this issue? FYI I clean the whole machine everyday.
No, mine pours the same amount of milk. Aside from the knob being in the same spot (I like mine and Max), the only thing is you have to make sure the milk level in the reservoir is at least at a certain level because if you get to close towards the bottom then you get less milk in your cup, obviously. And I do not clean the machine every day because if I had to clean it every day and I wouldn’t have even bothered buying it.
@@chadshahin8133 Thanks for the reply, i put a good amount of milk so that might be not the problem. I opened the milk part and saw that was a little calcified, not too much. I think the problem might be inside of the machine itself, it’s a disappointment to have this issue so early, I will have to send it to the official service before it gets worse.
@@OGSuperDirty To me it is not too difficult. Part of it is your tolerance for whether you feel you need to clean it after every use or not. I put the mile container, even if no milk, into the fridge all the time, but only wash it every few days. But I also do not keep adding milk on top of milk which would be letting the generations of bacteria develop and do rinse it very regularly, just not taking apart and washing with soap daily.
Got one this year as a Christmas gift but noticing that the milk frother has such a small amount coming out, is this normal? I'm concerned something is wrong with my new machine?
Of course without a photo I cannot exactly answer that, however, I recommend you look at my video at the 4:36 mark and see if that’s about how much froth you’re getting. Also, have you followed their instructions on how to clean it?
Yes, I fill it about halfway, and then after I make my drink(s), I remove and put the coffee container back in the fridge. Now . . . after a few times you want to go ahead and top off just enough for your drink to use almost all of it and then wash it out. You don't want to keep reusing the container too many time because even if you keep adding more milk, you will start to get a bit of sour flavor.
@@chadshahin8133 interesting, I was using 2% and thought it might have been the higher water content causing more bubbles. I switched to whole milk to try and it was less frothy, but I did not like it overall. Since have quit using the frother
We resolve the issue? Can you explain a little more. Which bottom plate? Are you talking about the plate underneath where your money goes and has two holes? Or are you talking about the plate right below where the water reservoir is?
It is an espresso machine. How strong the coffee is a function of the strength of the coffee beans you will use. But it is not super strong. I buy the organic espresso beans from Trader Joe’s for $8.99 and they have grinders at the register.
@@chadshahin8133 i been wanting to get one. Just curious as to the pump. I bought a Mr Coffee espresso maker and it ended up just making strong coffee. Didn't really pull an actual shot of espresso. So I was looking into getting the more expensive version..
@@Tata-iu3fy Hi "B". It is a 19 bar pump unit. You can see the specs here: www.mrcoffee.com/espresso-machines/semi-automatic/mr.-coffee-one-touch-coffeehouse-espresso-and-cappuccino-machine/SAP_BVMCEM6701SS.html.
You get a fairly good shot but I didn't care that it was fully automatic. Would rather do the milk myself. If you are making several drinks it might be ok but I found it a pain to have to clean the milk tank after making one Latte. If you are making several drinks at once and like the full auto, it's fine although it does leak some and taller glass height is an issue.
Hey Chad, I purchased this coffee machine and the little red/orange rubber seal broke where the milk jug pops on. I've contacted breville and they seem to think I need to return the whole machine over a tiny part. Have you had issues with your seal?
Sorry to hear that. No, I’ve now had it for 14 months and have not had an issue of that Reservoir connection breaking. And I probably have popped on and off the milk Reservoir probably a good 350 times.
@@chadshahin8133 ah well good on you lol I've even tried finding something similar to use to replace the seal/gasket unfortunately nothing seems to work properly. Thanks for getting back to me
Being an espresso machine, it does not take pods. Espresso has to be made a certain way, with the coffee grinds pressed (tampered) into the filter unit and the very hot water then forced through it. In fact, you would want to preferably grind your your coffee from beans at your local store that has a grinder, and only do so ahead of time only to last maybe a month out. Pods would be the opposite this whole concept.
The coffee grind size you had is way too coarse for espresso. I can see the coffee grains in the video. The shot came out also look very pale for this TJ roast. You should grind the beans much finer - it would give a much tastier shot.
Thanks for noticing. On the machine at the store i used the “espresso” setting. But since then I noticed that one of the two machines they have at the store must have a dulled grinder or something. So although I still use the espresso setting, I now use the machine that seems to do a better job of grinding it fine.
Yes, to make regular coffee, also referred to as an “Americano”, use the same process, except no milk/froth. Then you just have to add more water to taste.

Thank you for the great review. Have had my eye on this machine for a while and wanted to see how it worked.

Is there a way to just make a plain cup of coffee with this machine too??
Le creuset sells a spring collection of 14 oz mugs, but you would have to find them in the store now. Maybe they’ll make more next year 🤷
I have the same machine and I can’t figure out the espresso to water ratio? My espresso is packed in nicely but it comes out watery.

Hi, dose the machine work with pods? Can you dose the water to have a "espresso ristretto" ?
no it does not work with pods as far as I know. I am not familiar with ristretto.
can you put coco powder in it to make hot chocolate?
Chad, where are you from?
USA

Thanks for this simple but thorough explanation. Question - what to reason to pack it in?
