NF has a song called "Lost" featuring Hopsin and one called "Trust" featuring TechN9ne, both awesome songs. The black balloons are his burdens, a lot of his music deals with mental health issues. All his music is great. NF also has awesome vocals, yes he can sing too !

Within the video for “The Search” NF gestures to his black balloons while stating: “Grabbin’ my keepsakes, leavin’ my burdens/Well, I brought a few with me, I’m not perfect,” indicating that the balloons are symbolic of the problems that continue to plague him in spite of his growth. The black balloons are his burdens.
For the shopping cart part- he had the cage in background as an egg in search song from outcast song video from his perception album. the cage represents his mind.
NF brings the cart everywhere he goes, perhaps using the vehicle as a smaller, more portable version of the cage he once kept himself in. Considering the similar structure of the cart, it seems possible that the artist uses the cart when his feelings of entrapment return. In the closing moments of the video for “The Search,” NF climbs into the cart, folding up into the fetal position. While NF left the Perception outcast song cage behind, reaching a new pinnacle of success in the process, he continues to face feelings of fear, doubt, and pain just as any of us.

u can see he's a genius through single songs but if u read his life story and watch lyric videos, you realize he's a mastermind. been listening to his music for 4 years now on repeat and still find new riddles and connections in his lyrics daily... its crazy man

Ever since the moment I first heard *Nf* and watched my first reaction video of his music on TH-cam.. I haven’t been able to stop nor do I want to. Nate’s music, as I’m sure you know, is just so incredible and relatable and speaks to so many of us who have had similar struggles in life.. (and those of us who just appreciates good music lol) I’ve never been so passionate and appreciative of an artist before! Also, Ive never seen a fan base quite like his before either. Everyone is so loyal and kind and genuine! We appreciate him just as much as he appreciates us. I feel like we can all relate to each other on a deeper level and I think that’s what sets his fan base apart from others.. Bc of conversations like this btw ppl like us and so many others who come together just to support him and each other and his messages! Yes! Please do more!! You can literally choose anything from his catalogue and it’s a hit! If you start from the beginning though, you can see the progress (both musically and mentally) and it super inspirational and very impressive. It’s hard not to love him.

Hey! It looks like we might have a new "Brad and Lex" right here! I like your commentary and your style. A lot of us NF Outcasters rode the NF Journey with Brad and Lex to a tune of 100,000 subs! The thing about NF is he has a Journey which ties his albums together but you don't catch all of the Easter Eggs unless you start at the beginning. The NF crew is insatiable. If you start at Mansion album and work your way thru the NF Journey you will discover a hidden storyline that connects videos and lyrics. And we come along because we know what is coming in the Journey and we want to see you guys discover the story. Good catch on the black balloons. he has so many good albums you should check out "the search" album and his most recent mixtape "clouds"
NF songs commonly reference other tracks, in the search for example he spits the line 'something funny going on up in my house' which is a reference to the tack 'mansion' you have to start the story at the beginning to understand all the references.
Same with the imagery, the shopping cart represents the 'cage' NF makes for himself from the perception album, while the balloons represent burdens he carries through life, they increase and decrease in different songs as our burdens rarely stay the same, we let some go and acquire new ones.
NF is a genius, and he does not need to use profanity to hit hard.
he's had the same producer since high school when he started making music so the beats and the lyrics are literally built at the same time.

I know there’s a lot of people suggesting that you go back and listen to his older music and/or take the “NF Journey”. I say y’all just look at what sounds appealing to you and just roll with it! NF is an incredible artist who relies on substance, depth and introspection which then translates to very relatable music. If you wanna understand the symbolism in his music, it is pretty important to go back and take the “NF Journey” otherwise, if you just wanna listen to real, no filler, no garbage and no mumble style of rap, just pick a song and run with it! NF may not be signed to a major record label but his fanbase is very large and extremely loyal. If you react to NF, the fanbase will follow. Great reaction and I look forward to y’all getting to more NF in the future!

This is for anyone new who may want to take the NF journey as we call it because he intertwines his music like marvel movies.
All four albums is like a connected series. For instance in his when i grow up song, paid my dues, leave me alone, and why song, the black smile is the fake smile that he mentions in therapy session song.
He hides eggs in his videos. In when i grow up song there was two hidden eggs in that song. A black balloon by the trash cans and in burger joint he grabbed at receipt that had the date and time of when his song time was being released. He had outcast name tag on in the janitor part from his Outcast song. Another example is in the search song he had cage in background he rapped in from his outcast song.
