For a change the ML is not an Almighty here. He has his flaws a crybaby, a little stupid, funny and even got kidnapped😅😅😂😂. The male lead is so delicate and passionate whilst the female lead is more like a CEO temperament. Very cute couple. Mei mei was adorable and loyal. The assistant waa good too

This was decent all around. The action/fighting scenes were better than they usually are in low budget productions. They kept things somewhat simple in story and execution. The conflicts, how each side handled them, and fights had way more merit than the heavily formulaic scripts has. It wasn't oppressive or claustrophobic in the violence even though it had plenty, they were done in a way that benefited the characters and the plots. Very little of the dreadful three: tripping, princess carry, or slow motion fakeness. This is probably because they weren't hyper focused on the romance. The areas of faulter isn't worth mentioning since yhey got the important basics right; well except for one. The only pity is that the evil woman wasn't maimed in some way before going to prison. I mean having to eat out of a tube, pee into a bag, lose of sight/speech/hearing, or ability to walk would have been so satisfying.
This is a refreshing drama. Must watch! The switching of genders & roles are done very right here. Of course I hated all the villains and felt sad about the victims. 🥺 But still … loved it 🥰 in total. 👍
Honestly this isn't bad but it does have some issues. I had to think about it a bit but honestly my impression of the ML was more similar to that of some of the incompetent scumbag exes in other dramas. I DO NOT mean that the ML was a scumbag here .. just that some of the weak ... seemingly incompetent behavior was more similar to those types in other drams. I don't think it was the fault of the ML's acting so much as directing and script issues. Basically the ML is supposed to a pretty powerful guy even if he is being suppressed by his step mother. The scene where he is calling business partners for help is a prime example. He his timid and weak even over the phone, basically scared whiney. This is not how someone who is powerful acts. They caught the right balance in a few scenes. I have zero issues with some of the crying scenes with him, they are very human. But it just doesn't strike the right balance between powerful and vulnerable and just comes off as weak in many places. He is battling enemies including his step mother, he has to be on his A game and while he gets there you sometimes have to question how. I am not questioning that he was trying to grow into his power ... it was just some of the vulnerability played more as weak and incapable although the change from all powerful is more realistic and a nice change. The ML was not a 90lb weakling even if the FL was the protector so this added to some of the oddness with the variable behavior. Maybe having it be more of a show for the FL to protect him in some scenes would have played better? Or his overall abilities being more defined. This drama had a humor element and if they completely played into that maybe some of the ML's "oddity" would have come off better some of Jerry Lewis' characters (ie, the Nutty Professor) On the one hand this drama played things a bit more realistically, knife would didn't magically heal right away and action could be explained with adrenaline. Major accidents caused real deaths, although assistant of course had to survive to finish the plot. What I didn't like was that the younger sister died. Obviously from the height of potential fall shown she should have died, unlike ones where a small fall causes a miscarriage but a fall from 3 or 4 stories both mom and fetus are intact. I would have rather seen a coma - either from a fall from a lesser height or maybe the bodyguards drug her instead and she has a reaction heart attack etc. But in the end she is alive. The dad dying wasn't an emotional reaction. He was barely seen and it was ..whatever when he died for the audience. But the sister was a firm supporter of both the FL and ML even against her bio mom, ML's step mother. She was young, innocent and the death was pointless. It moved the plot along with those seeking revenge but it didn't fit a drama with the number of fairly humorous scenes... or the type of humor used. It was too serious of a plot element for the drama. FL was tough but could have been about 5-10% more comforting in some of the scenes while still maintaining that image of strength and protector. I did love the princess carry, it looked realistic unlike some I have seen where the ML almost looks like he will drop the FL ... might not be true but it looks like they are struggling that much. There have been a few female bodyguard dramas and I would like to see more, hopefully evolving to a better balance.

She has not seen this man in so many years but handed over money to him quite happily. She never saw his daughter that alone would raise my suspicions. Now she's going to cry and asked why? LOL. Like the male lead said, you should know how to protect yourself. I have mixed opinions on this drama.. lots of pot holes, English subs not synced. not very good aciting... other wise a cute drama. the ml was so funny.... he is physically weak...lol. had a big mouth..lol but n needs other ppl to do the physical work.. worth the watch if you want to... thank you uploader.
