Sir in 2 question answer should be tell that ur inability to finish on time after that it's relevant that we ask for extention of deadline otherwise it's meaningless🤔

If asking for extension means I'm devaluing the importance of the task for the organisation. So it would be better to suggest an alternate person. Everything would be sorted out without any problem to anybody. In DM, we shouldn't be too rational or too irrational. Decisions should be sitisficing.
