David’s a great father, he’s been doing his best since the day he first met Max. Who knew that a deranged, twisted, but clearly emotionally troubled teen like him would turn into a strong willed, family loving man (with the occasional snarky witty humour or a spontaneous stunt, like during his revenge pact with Clayton.) Jack has played a blinder for 23 years straight.
TBH Max shouldnt be there anyway. He never stabbed anyone and he actually saved lives by raising the alarm. All he did was make a couple of videos, they went nice videos but should that put someone in prison? Since when did the UK become communist China.
David is a good father he loves his son. Their connection is so strong! These scenes are important teenage boys need a father in their lives who can guide them. Often boys get caught up in gangs because the father is absent or not emotionally present.
Why do I get the horrible feeling Max is gonna try and take his own life. He is starting to understand and feel the weight of what he did and like he is sorry and showing remorse but it is all still a lot of emotions to process and he's like 16 and this is all really heavy stuff. Also we know that the thing that triggered this and that caused Max to be groomed was Max having to deal with what happened to David. I think Max is gonna be afraid of hurting anyone else and will possibly turn on himself instead.
@@melissafox7257 personally I see griff as a respective role model for the lost souls that are todays generation. This country is packed with people that shouldn’t be here and they’re taking our tax money that should be spent on the nhs and maintaining the infrastructure that we use everday
There is always Hope Max!!!! David May not be the World’s Greatest Dad. But he’s your Dad. And loves you more than anything, Max. You made a horrible decision. That does not make you a bad kid. It sucks being in Prison. I’m sure. But listen to yourself. You have remorse and regret for your behavior. The only advise I can give is to LEARN FROM the mistakes you’ve made and move forward. Granted you will encounter some people that are just to Daft to see the Caring young man underneath. You’ll get thru. And your Sister and Dad will be there when you get out.

David’s right, Max was groomed. He should never have pleaded guilty to what he did because he wasn’t guilty, Griff was the only guilty one.
