Can I just say thank you? I've been struggling to make a video for over a year now. Every time I sit down to work on something new I always get so discouraged - I constantly tell myself that what I'm working on isn't good enough, or that people will hate it, or any other excuse I can come up with to not finish what I started. This has been bothering me for so long and yet I still have not been able to bring myself to do this. I have so many new ideas I want to explore, so many topics that I want to talk about, and yet I haven't even given myself the opportunity to do so because I was too afraid of what would happen. You've made me realize that change is okay, and that risks are worth taking. I hope I can heed your advice and get back to making things that I enjoy making. Thank you.

I've always wanted to animate in 3D animation digital softwares and I have a lot of ideas but I've never really followed that dream because it'd be a huge change in what I always do. Brah, re; the Denny's video. Bravo for overcoming the hurdle of creative doubt. I post my pictures on Facebook and sometimes doubt overwhelms. In the final analysis the 'art' has to be aired to be appreciated. Some will like it, some don't. If you don't publish you will never know. You said that as well. Your head is in the right place. Very refreshing for someone in your age demo. Keep up the good work.
This has relevance to how I currently feel with creative writing. I just had a short story critiqued and afterwards had a strange depression where I didn't feel I had anything left to give to anyone (despite the fact I received some encouragement.) Now I'm faced with the inevitable reshaping of the story into another draft, and the intimidation of transitioning into the next story. Even with mere inklings, I have to accept it will not be perfect, either. Of course (and as your video points out quite well) change is better overall, but I have a habit of focusing / overthinking the small barriers that I forget of the bigger reward that comes when things work themselves out. Besides the process is the best part, and that feeling of being in the midst of a long-term creative wave, where a sense of being able to tap into creativity at any given moment, is such a great feeling that it's worth chasing as often as possible.

I think what your'e talking about is what we used to refer to way back when as 'insecurities'. But at what point will you believe in yourself and understand that 'you got this' that no matter what you do and say, a lot of people will still want to see and hear you, because thats what we do. We got you Brah, we got this. No matter what, we watch because what you do- we like. Everyday the earth changes, a hundred years ago there were no roads highways no tv computers no internet and no Review Brah. So yes you have to conclude change is good, it doesn't have to be great change it can be subtle, slight or insignificant ( i know nothing at all is insignificant to you Brah) but whatever the change, release the butterflies that bind your gut, go with the origination of the instinct that told you change had to have occurred and be sure because you forget we love you Brah and no matter what we will be here to see the changes and move along with you and the new things. Exactly how I think, leave your options open even if you do that same one thing consistently for a long time, never give up new ideas without trying them first. Whatever happens you have a dedicated audience who, at least I think it is the majority, don't care about what content you make, they care about seeing you no matter what.

I did the same thing ,started a you tube channel on Narcsistic abuse. Its certainly not big with a lot of subs but I enjoy it and actually have helped some people , I enjoy your food reviews ! Gives me a heads up on eating out !
Always allow oneself and others to change and try new things. Spare oneself and others shame in the process of growing. We all evolve over time, but many times we can stifle others AND be stifled by others, by being held to the standards of our habitual past. We tend to want our friends and family to stay static, while allowing ourselves to change and grow. We need to remember to allow others to change as well, even though it can be uncomfortable or scary to not have those exact same, familiar reference points. Like yourself, those you allow to grow will be better off for it.

Spare oneself and others shame in the process of growing.
We all evolve over time, but many times we can stifle others AND be stifled by others, by being held to the standards of our habitual past.
We tend to want our friends and family to stay static, while allowing ourselves to change and grow. We need to remember to allow others to change as well, even though it can be uncomfortable or scary to not have those exact same, familiar reference points. Like yourself, those you allow to grow will be better off for it.
