Hey Evan.. That was a great interview. I am a lifelong Bruce Hornsby fan...He is an amazing artist...and seemingly a very happy and optimistic person who makes being alive at the same time as him, a real gift.
I’m a great Bruce Hornsby Fan since the mid 1980´s. I followed his musical journey through decades and enjoyed so many great music. Sadly He´s not touring in Europe that much, and I would give everything to see him life somewhere in the heart of Europe (Austria) . So Mr. Hornsby if this message get to you please think about an European tour with the Noisemakers! Sincerely a huge Fan!
"Trying to create something new in the moment." Perfect. That's why this guy always seems full of joy. He just keeps creating, and appreciating the moment.
I really love Mr Bruce Hornsby's music 🎶. I grew up hearing the song "The show goes on" on Radio 📻 back in the 80s in my Primary School days. This song stuck with me for many years of my life. Now in my fourties, I still can't get enough of Bruce Hornsby's music. I own two CDs 💿; A view from the Southside and The way it is. His music is just timeless. I am sure it will always live with me as long as I am still alive.
Thanks for this interview. I've been a fan of BH for a long time, even saw him in concert at the Bergen PAC years ago, & have 8 of his albums. Including the "Levitate" album that he called unfortunate or something like that in your interview! Due to this interview, I think I'll now have to check out his latest album, 'Flicted.
@Evan Toth I'm a hardcore Bruce fan. But,wasn't a fan of the new album or past album's. Way overly produced, no piano solos or the clean sound from his great past albums.I miss his range style.I wish he do a reunion range album.sorry I hated the new album and I hate saying that
HORNSBY is just plain awesome . Randy Jackson played bass and toured with JOURNEY on RAISED ON RADIO tour his skill is certainly in league of Mr. Hornsby which is the zenith .
Nice chat .. .. ..I'm one of those fans that still play those early albums and Bruce is right, recoiling at some of the later stuff which frankly may be a tad too musically advanced for us old school fans.. .. ..just sayin'
Just seen Bruce last night in Glasgow, Scotland. Still getting over the experience. Honoured to see this. Only concert in Europe.
I love this man and his music so much. He’s created so much beauty in this world.

Yes you could say Bruce has mastered the art of remaining an eclectic musician down his musical path.
He is one-of-a-kind!

Those are great albums, but give a few of his newer records a try; I bet you’ll be glad you did. ✌️

Hornsby is an artist for the ages!
Started playing piano after hearing songs on the radio released from Hornsbys first album. 85 or 86'
I'm glad to hear he inspired you; he's a great keyboard player.
