Hi Greg & Chris , great to see you both out together again and a good selection of finds my favourite is the lovely item at 8:37 a lovely leather mount probably from a harness and could be colonial dating back to the late 1700s king George the 3rd the one who lost America for us 😂 , anyway great video once more best wishes and good luck ATB Rob .
Hi Rob! It was a great day and it was awesome to have Chris out there. It had been a long time. The leather mount is a very neat piece and it did seem to pre-date the other recoveries there. Greg, what brand was the metal detector you got for Christmas in 1979. We bought a "Whites" back in the early seventies to find my brother's lost class ring.

Your crown decoration is a Queens crown as it is larger than a Kings crown which means it is likely Victorian as it looks too old for Elizabeth 2nd. The Red crown advert you used illustrates the difference as it is a Kings crown. The silver crown is a fantasy design for decoration. Andy
