I’m cracking up!!!! I know that feeling with the vacuum sealer 😆 thank you for the info…I grew corn for the first time and this is going to come in handy 👏🏼
Thank you, Todd; we froze them still wrapped; they peeled easily, we put them frozen, in cold water ... they were great; going to try your’s; will leave more room in the freezer!
I have started using the dishwasher for my blanching process for the last 2 years and I think it works great. I put up about 25 gallon bags a year and it sure taste great in January. 😊
Hi. How are you? I enjoyed watching your video. I was looking for the right way to store corn and stumbled upon this. Hahahaha! Cant help but laugh. :) Keep safe!
This is how I do it -- works great. I just cooked up some corn from last year and it's in perfect shape. Secret is to make sure the core is cooled and the corn is dried off. I use my Food Saver for everything... it's worth every penny.
i guess Im randomly asking but does any of you know of a way to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Avi Donovan I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im in the hacking process now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
I do all of this but put them on a cookie sheet in the freezer then after they are frozen not touching I wrap each in cling wrap before putting in a freezer bag.....all of this to say I don't have a press and seal machine.
Thank you,you are a pistil, my corn on the cob last year tasted like THE COB, not your recipe, however. How was it. I have a food saver someway in the basement. Lol.
Just stumbled upon your channel, you're fairly entertaining and comical! I have 6 dozen ears to perseve.. I'm going to try this method and also vaccum seal them!! Also how'd they turn out?
No sorry your doing too much , am a woman and I have a hundred things to do, I keep them in the husks then freeze them, put them in any bag I have, when I want one I take them out of the freezer shove it in a microwave for 4 then 2 min till soft peels like butter and strands come off with the husks then eat, stop creating more work Utah.
It's my first time watching you,and am hooked.
Bookshelf of Deliciousness!! 👍
Thanks for sharing. Watching in Tennessee.
Todd, I’ve never seen your channel before but I LOVE your personality. Great job on the corn video. Subscribed! 👍🏼

Just found your channel and I’m hooked. You remind me of my twin brother who’s also a great cook and has a great sense of humor.
I appreciate your humor. I enjoyed.
Culinary tip, place a wet washcloth/wet paper towel beneath the cutting board the will keep it from sliding.

good sharing.. thank you sir.
Put cobs in microwave for 2 min. 1 min for each extra cob. let cool cut off of cob. This prevents water build up in corn.
8:17. Lights cigarette.
I love to vacuum seal
Ty for the fun. For more sealer fun, seal a Krispy Kreme donut. 😂
What a travesty! But you could use it as a burger bun..... 🧐
How did the corn do over time in the freezer with this method? Taste?
Thank you,you are a pistil, my corn on the cob last year tasted like THE COB, not your recipe, however. How was it. I have a food saver someway in the basement. Lol.
How was the corn
How did it taste?
i did the same thing, but had a time sealing the bag, lot of water. do you set the sealer on wet?
Just stumbled upon your channel, you're fairly entertaining and comical! I have 6 dozen ears to perseve.. I'm going to try this method and also vaccum seal them!! Also how'd they turn out?
extremely tasty. Crisp, juicy...
Could you just bag them, then parboil while in the bag to prevent the watery taste?
Very entertaining. i can most of mine...but, I have to freeze enough cobs for Thanksgiving.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This was entertaining.
great video
I need to go take a nap now.

What's a good vaccum sealer? Please
Food Saver brand
CAME ACROSS YOUR VIDEO FOR FIRST TIME. LOVED THE INFORMATION AND YOUR HUMOUR. HAD ME LAUGH OUT LOUD SEVERAL TIMES, WHICH RARELY EVER HAPPENS!
Not gonna lie. I sat here with a “shit eating” grin the whole time you were sucking the air out of that bag….. I know just how you feel! 😂
I would not want to clean up after you! Hehe But you're a hoot.
I really like the idea of using my vacuum seal machine. But then I forget to eat any of it.
🌽
Can I cut the corn off the cob? And Blanche and freeze that?
What does the parboiling do?
Stops enzymes…that degrade the fresh product.
gracias:D
Just found you....love you!!!
I like you, great video too!!
Love corn on the cob, me too……I’m a plumber, allllwwways know corn season. Lol.
You need to cut off the ends before you shuck them!!!!!
Way too much going on. Just freeze husk and all. Done!
Exactly. I’ve been doing it this way for years. Absolutely delicious tastes fresh picked and so much easier.
