@@bengray3245 The pre-rendered ones? absolutely agree with op, they had early 3d animated film quality. The in-game ones are not very good though, even for that time, clearly rushed as hell for the most part
@@xubikiltro5263 I agree. The pre-rendered animations looks like a 3D cartoon you'd see on Nickelodeon. I think the in-game graphics look pretty good too. They're not that bad, but yeah you can tell some textures aren't detailed enough. I never knew about this game being rushed.

Ah Crash Twinsanity, despite all of its glitches it became my favorite Crash game. I hope it recives a remake in the future with all the content that wasn’t here.

I love how expressive Cortex's model is in this game. The way they really stretch his facial features is very reminicent of the ps1 games with vertex animation.
This game will forever be with me. It's funny and charming, and it had amazing music to boot. I loved the sort of looping in on itself that it did, so you could replay it over and over to get the collectibles you missed. I probably played through it hundreds of times.
The penguin cutscene is still one of my favourites. "The check bounced?"

Not gonna lie, this game has a LOT of funny moments, especially with Dr. Cortex.
Especially the part where he dressed up as coco
Definitely a great start for Cortex's redesign and Lex Lang's debute as him
And his voice is surprisingly good and easy to understand, i'm not a good English listener yet but i can understand everything he says

Back when the N-sane trilogy was successful, Keith Webb sent an open letter, stating he is still interested in remaking Crash Twinsanity and its cut contents and wants to team up with Vicarious Visions, but sadly, no news after that for years now 😢

I’ve never played this particular Crash game, but my head-canon at the start is that Crash was, like us, of course perfectly aware that it wasn’t Coco that he was following; he was more like: ‘Okay, let’s see what Cortex is up to NOW . . . ‘
And, in regards to the whole niece or daughter thing, I feel like Cortex is definitely Nina’s uncle but he was LIKE a father to her, resulting in the whole ‘my daught-err-NIECE’ thing. XD

The Crash 4 devs confirmed that all games are canon! And with Cortex starting to go crazy in Crash 4, it might lead up to this game. (they also confirmed that Crash 4 plays before Wrath of Cortex).
@@xXYannuschXx that has not been confirmed Crash 4 is not a interquel it’s a direct sequel to Warped and is going in its own direction and storyline as for Wrath of Cortex and Twinsanity they take place in a different timeline created by time twisters implosion. Cortex, Uka Uka and N. Tropy are sent back to past in time prison for 22 years and spend 10 years trying to break out whilst they are doing that Wrath of Cortex, Twinsanity, Fusion, XS and N-Tranced take place when they break out of time prison actual time has passed and It’s About Time takes place couldn’t careless about spin off games and Titans and Mind Over Mutant there not important.
@@xXYannuschXx Crash 4 could never take place before WoC. I can't see Uka Uka taking N. Tropy back anytime, no matter how much Tropy grovels for forgiveness. Dingodile working as a baddie again isn't impossible, but he'd need a proper reason and above all, personal gain (Dingo's always mainly concerned for himself).
this game has such amazing story and concepts, if only it had been given the time and money to actually get finished well

I find it very funny that Crash has no voice in this game whatsoever (seriously, I don’t think he even has a credited VA and his iconic “WOAH” sound bite isn’t used), and yet he’s so expressive with his pantomiming in this game that he honestly doesn’t need one. You’d think this be the game to introduce Jess Harnel to the franchise doing his typical gibberish for the character since it introduced Lex Lang as Cortex but it’s not. Oh well, just a funny observation on my part.
The game is still hilarious and awesome regardless. I just hope that a remaster happens soon, can’t really afford to buy the OG game and OG consoles it was released on without selling a body part. XD

As much as I liked the remaster and the new sequel I'd love to see a remake of this game with the scrapped content put back in, glitches fixed and all the extra levels and boss fights they had originally planned... and a slightly better villain plot.

Twinsanity was the only Crash game I played though so I have no idea who any of the characters are.
I only got as far as the first boss (Neo Cortex). After seeing the rest of the gameplay as to how the story unfolded, I have a strong desire to play it again.
I got so many game overs from that god damn Walrus alone.
This is the first time that lex lang first voice this game in the mid 2000s
After all these years, coming back and rewatching the cutscenes...I'll be honest, this game feels more like an elaborate shitpost and an official game. Easily my favorite Crash Bandicoot game.
