Spent this entire video taking notes of the must tries for the fest. I will forever trust MAM’s judgment when it comes to food and drinks, so Alan and Molly’s faves are definitely going to be tried on my festival adventure in a couple months.

Watching this with my toddler who's almost 2 and every time there was food on the screen she was going "oh oh oh nooo!" and reaching her hand out to the screen because she was expecting Molly and Alan to share all their food with her lol loved this video! Saw Molly and Alan at the Joffrey's! Molly was in line behind me and I turned around and I think I scared her as I said "MOLLY!" Both were very nice but I also didn't want to bother them too much. I then told my Wife I saw them - she wasn't impressed as I am really the only one in the family that watches the videos! Hope you two had a great time at the festival - I know we did!
I think you had a bad batch of the beef tips...ours were delicious and tips melted in our mouths. Best definitely was that garlic goat cheese croissant.

I lived in Germany for 9 years. Very popular at the Christmas Markets. This is a classic pairing. My dad and my brother loved it. I would always eat them separately as well!

Those potato cakes looked a lot thicker and less fried than latkes but applesauce is the traditional side with latkes (Jewish potato pancakes). Sour cream is also used by many but applesauce became tradition because the rules of keeping kosher do not allow the mixing of dairy and meat in one meal. Applesauce (especially cinnamon) is a delicious way to cut the oil and add flavor but maybe an acquired taste
Those latkes looked way undercooked to me. But I mean they are calling them potato pancakes so they may be slightly different.

Apple sauce and potato cakes (Reibekuchen) are a traditional pairing. But the potato cakes could have been fried a little bit more, if you asked me 😉. It’s typical Christmas market food.

The potato pancake is basically a latke which is a Jewish food served for any meal around Hanukkah specifically etc traditionally served with side of apple sauce and side of sour cream.
Another great festival video and now I’m hungry and I want a beer! Still laughing at Molly saying you expect me to have brunch without coffee what do you think I am an animal 🤣🤣. We used your festival wristbands gift card idea on our girls trip in January for festival of the arts and loved it so easy! ❤

I am so excited for anything that is dairy free for my sensitive tummy. Always a challenge to find food that won't get me sick, and I am an adventurous eater by heart. I love to garden too so the plants just make my heart full!

This is my 6th F&G fest video I’ve watched, and I’m so surprised! Others loved the shrimp scampi poutine and hated the chicken and waffles. I’m torn now. Might just have to try both for myself in April. Loved the video!

Lumpia is a Philippine dish. It's like an Asian egg roll or a Mexican taquito. The wrapper depends on the nationality. The filling is whatever you stuff it with.
