listening to someone talk about something their so passionate about is always so incredibly lovely to hear, just listening to you talk about things that make you happy, even in the darkest of times is just so wonderful
The being tense and jumpy thing is something I relate to highly. My dad would poke me a lot as a kid & make a specific noise while doing so & I know it was just teasing but I seriously can’t have people move their hands unexpectedly around me now because of it (especially while driving. That always freaking me out) and I can’t hear that noise or hug my dad without flinching. I never processed this as trauma until recently but I’ve been trying to deconstruct my life lately to better understand it. As for the cinema that’s how I felt about Primeval & how I feel about my current huperfixation. Primeval no joke got me thro high school & no matter what anyone else thinks it made me a much more confident person. Owe a lot to Connor’s character in particular. There were a lot of things in my life inspired by Primeval & one of those helped me realized I’m queer which has now brought me to my current hyperfixation Lucids by Nicholas Podany. A lot of the silent moments of hell I’ve undergone in the last year never cease to be soothed by watching Lucids or listening to Nick’s music & it sometimes feels like it’s meant to be addressing me personally even when it’s not. It’s just that good. It’s amazing how much media can touch us in ways we least expect it. Also I haven’t listened to a lot of The Score’s music but Born For This & Never Going Back & two of my favorite songs. And Imagine Dragons will always be kickass too. I’m glad ur gonna keep making these videos. I think these are important topics to talk about and not just during Mental Health Awareness month. These are also really relaxing to listen to right before bed so I think you have a great voice for it. Thanks John ♥️
