Rome is simply a brilliant mind.
Rome is a perfect example of a guy who is half-smart and possesses a ton of charisma. He is the ultimate caricature of the prototypical sports guy who talks about sports day in and day out. Admire him for what he does, but don't think for a second that he is an upstanding guy who thinks beyond his own world. If you really take maybe a minute or so to think about it, he is a fucking asshole.

Urb said he just needed to "clear his head" and "get outa Dodge" and that players are telling him "We've all done stupid things" Then he throws Trent Baalke under the bus by saying he told Baalke he wouldn't be traveling with the team. So many of the big name college coaches just fucking bail on the job or phone it in once they realize they can't hack it in the pros. Which tells me alot of them are simply good at convincing 5-star recruits to come to their school, and little else.

It is The Greatest Intersectional Rivalry in All of College Sports and So Much Rich History to go along with it! So there is that Love / Hate thing that goes with it…but never really hate for me. In fact, My Bucket List Wish is to get to a ND/USC game in South Bend. I would love to experience all of the color, sounds and pageantry of that game there! 👊
