I have always thought MO2 was one of the most unique games out there. Being out in the open world just feels way different knowing you can run into players and housing structures anywhere in the world . I enjoy the emphasis on open world gameplay and less sitting in town waiting on dungeon or raid queues.

Yea, but the anywhere, anytime full loot pvp is not popular concept. They should have created three smaller zones of safety and one really large pvp zone the size of all three safety zones combined. Games like DAoC had the right idea. You can't have pvp all the time with full loot and have a successful game.
I've been playing Mortal for roughly 2 months now, and it's the first MMO since 2006 that I actually can't stop playing. That being said, it is an incredibly deep game, and brutally unforgiving. My advice to anyone thinking about playing is to find a guild PRIOR to starting to play. This way any game mechanic questions or build advice is available. Most enjoyment I found out of the game was finding the 5-8 guys I play with on the regular and just doing small group activities to contribute to the overall health of the stronghold (Things like mining, cave runs, small pvp, fishing parties, exc.). It heavily caters to the crowd that enjoys a team oriented experience. It comes down to not being about YOU, it's about the GROUP. There's nothing like carrying 150 gold worth of materials to go sell and then you accidently ride through a battlefield of 60+ guys and you somehow come out on the other end alive.
It's a lot easier to fight bandit NPCs if you stand still at 2:32. It's not like PVP where moving will give you a better positional advantage. NPCs are always going to be facing toward you no matter how fancy your footwork. Just stand still and block/counter attack. They're pretty easy when you do that.

Hey, The dinging is a bug that apears whenever you change window after delivering a parsel, whenever you deliver a parcel it is important that you close the window after. :) fun video.
Having no crime or areas of security will lead to the open PvP destroying the game. New players who want to solo wtc will just leave for other games. I wouldnt want to join any clan etc.
There's a criminal system and town guards who kill murders, and you're allowed to attack murders in town without the guards attacking you, and in a new patch they added guards to the main roads, so it's dangerous for player killers to hang out in/near cities or roads. And there's always guilds recruiting. Look for the guild Goslings in the town of Moh'Ki, we're taking any/all new players and we're part of the Enclave alliance who help new players and are at war with the RPK guilds.
This game is fun for people that want to role-play like they're an outlaw robbing and killing the weak, like the guys at the end! I think its a good way for people like that to release their inner evil and stay out of prison in real life :)
because you know if you tried to be so "evil and mighty" in real life you would just get capped. that also explains why both games have a toxic cesspool for a community. get better and change as a person NOW
do you think all those that rob and steal are evil and want to "harm the weak"? do you think everybody in prison is evil? have you thought about maybe the persons circumstances have led them to do those things? this really almost reads like a fanfic or you're genuinely just screwed up and probably should go to prison
"tough guys" like you get ground up in the prison system, while those that actually experienced it are out here trying to find footing and just chill out ... its not about all that man
There are plenty of communities that actively and regularly stomp on the random-player killing guilds. Look up ARPK guilds, hopefully you find a fun one to dunk on the toxic nerds :)
I actually love this game and miss it dearly but clearly my PC does not I disconnect and lag every half an hour or so and we all know you just simply can't play a PVP game with those issues

When you deliver a parcel and take a new one make sure you close the window with the tab you deliver parcel into Open. And not the tab where you choose parcel to take. If you accidently do it the other way you can just talk to the npc again and do it over and close it the "correct" way. Super wierd the bug is still there tho lol. I guess its not anything crucial they need to prioritice but its quite annoying 😂
Mostly a gank fest. Not many penalties for killing other players so they often attack first and ask questions later. I'd say 50% of my player encounters I ended up being attacked before we even spoke.
Gank fest. Mortal online follows the ole rule of. why grind pve when you can just kill someone who did it and take their stuff. and you saw how the gankers had faster horses then him so you cant outrun them. the rich get richer.
It's not a bad game but the community is a cancer. It's just huge mass of griefers and murder hobos. Maybe in next 2 years it will be worth it but currently? Dude, just play Chivalry 2 or other mmo. Straight into good PvP without dozens of waisted hours. Even new update didn't cause any surge in playerbase (check steamchart), so what Im writing here is not just my own sole opinion.
TC is something a lot of people that haven't returned are excited about. However the casual players are not going to come back until the crime system rework that will come with the epic release. The way this entire game boils down to who has the biggest zerg is just so boring. Theyre catering to the remaining playerbase which is just people whose only objective is to ruin solo players day. Unless you constantly roll around with 5+ people the game is unplayable.

GG bro. toxai and MK used to be safer but now the gankers hide out east of the map cuz they can't survive the REAL bangers in the west. one of them caught deleting loot cuz he thought it was funny, and the other literally took the side of some E girl who wanted to play with enemy guild so he ended up in the enemy guild too.... ALONE mind you cuz everybody else left when the girl did. hahahahaha suckers. i warned them but too much ego and girl voice just overpowers these guys in game hahaha.
for me its the subscription, i think sub games are worth it but only if they are so good and addicting that they're all you play anyways, mortal online 2 is not that

Glad you gave Mortal another chance, the developer is a huge UO fanboy from back in the day and copied over many of the features from MO even lots of the spells / skills are named the same with the same effects! I'd suggest finding a guild and getting trained to become good at pvp.

I find its not worth the risk to have listed common items go to waste so i just vendor at a reduced profit or dont pickup those items if I cannot use them myself.

I bought this game and found out I needed a degree in chemistry to do alchemy so I'm working on that before I come back

The way to fix audio bug if you get it. Reopen the task vendor click new task and then deliver task and then close. The sound will go away.
