As per science, dinosaurs were reptilian species, And reptiles as per Hindu scriptures are called "sarisripa". Now, there was a very powerful clan of sarisripa that originated from Kadru, one of the wives of Rishi Kashyap, called the Nagas...the Nagas were very powerful, had fire emitting and flight abilities, the "Sarpa Satra Yagna" conducted by Janmajeya of the Pandava Lineage, led to mass extinction of the Naga clan, only a few of them were left at the end including the Naga king takshaka, all of whom took refuge under Indra, the king of the heavens(refer to the story of Mahabharata for more details)...now the snakes or "sarpa" of today are said to be the direct reptilian descendents of Nagas & many Asian tribes also to be the descendents of Nagas who had human wives...now if the legends of dragons of the European cult, the legends of Chinese dragons and the legends of the Nagas are critically compared then they are found to be more or less 5000 years old stories...it is to be noted that the Sarpa Satra Yagna of Janmajeya was also conducted around 5000 years ago...maybe these dragons are the ones whom modern science calls dinosaurs...

Now Dwapar is twice then Kaliyug.
Age of Kaliyug = 4,32,000 yrs
Dwapar = 2 x 4,32,000 = 8,64,000 years.
So Lord Ram should have been around 8.75 to 9 lac years ago. This has nothing to do with Dinasours

I dont think so that dinosaurs would have lived through the period of ramayana because humans came after dinosaurs went extinct so its impossible to think that they existed during ramayana
