How absolutely lovely to see/hear George Chakiris looking so fit, well and as gracious as ever. I was 11 when I fell in love with him in WSS. I sent a silly fan letter which his own father replied to with a photo and handwritten note! So kind. Now in my 70’s and love him still. Brilliant 😘🙏
I enjoyed reading George Chakiri's memoir. It is easy to read and an invaluable read. The insight into his background and childhood gave a vivid impression of who he is. The Who's Who of show business who he associated with are referred to here, some big names and surprises. I am very proud of George, as I use to watch him on the big screen and felt some connection to him as he was of Greek origin, like myself and he wasn't afraid to use his real Greek name at a time when racial tension amongst ethnic groups was rife in our country. We drew comfort from this as he was our model and superhero. Thank you Love your work!
Seems like a nice, soft spoken, and very decent man, but I ask, can anyone believe this fellow is almost 90!!! He looks sensational, yet he certainly has a personality to match. Excellent questions and wonderfully thoughtful answers. I enjoyed this very much.
