Pottinger Paul needs his own Grassman merch line 😁😁😁😁 They need to offset those jockey wheels out a foot or two. Then they would run on clean ground, not on top of the swath and would help a lot for the ride height and not get jammed with grass. like it tho bit o kit that 👍👍👍👍👍
Glad to see they're working on the variable width rotary rakes. We use Berrima roll bar rakes because we can change to rake width from 8m for silage to 10 m for hay for the balers. Really good machines and there more gentle on fragile feeds like lucerne than a rotary rake while sweeping the ground like a wheel rake. Nice video
The bigger machines debate rages on !! I witnessed a chap up the road, take a hedge row completely out of one side of his field so that he could join 2 fields together, at the same time he widened the gate 2fold what it used to be... Also a small scale farmer who has a field directly across from my house, had for the first time ever, another contractor doing his muck spreading instead of himself.. He would have a massey 165 and some beat down dung spreader to match... This guy rolled in with a T7 210 and a muck spreader that would hold nearly all the farms dung in one go... It took him 1/12 loads to do the field.. Watching him get in to the field was fair funny... Intensive farming is ramping up !!
Great video…… Paul really Eat,Sleeps and drinks Pottinger ……. Fantastic to hear!!! On and that Smyth got some mountain of grass at 7.30 also did you mention why rake doesn’t have rear steer???
Sum places we had 14/16ft gates now 18/19or20ft as things r getting bigger an sumtimes the front wheel of the tractor just has 2 give the gate post a push 2 drop a hint 4 bigger to go on 😅👍
Have you any auld URSUS tractors in your set up or could you please do a video on them?I remember going over to Mornington in Meath as a kid for da 6 week holidays from Manchester and helping out on a family friend farm who had a couple of them.
