    The Speakeasy Pinball machine is my all-time favourite, as far as Pinball machines go. I really like how these guys presented it, with their light-hearted humour; they really are a bunch of characters! Seeing it in action along with other insights about it was oh-so cool.😎 Top marks for this video for sure and a big thumbs up.👍🤠

    This was right in the middle of Bally's heyday right here- they made so many classics around this time and this game is no exception- awesome job guys!

    Neat game. I love it when pinball machines add weird little things like spin wheels since it gives the game an extra level of randomness. The whole adding and losing balls thing is a neat idea too. Thanks for another great video sir.

    Hi Todd. I've just refurbished my speak easy. And went with your recommendations, for lighting scheme. It really does pop. I found that pink is a good orange alternative. Comet Pinball and Altek boards are life savers.

    I've got a chance to buy this machine locally, love the look of it as it will go with the rest of my decor in my bar room, and your video explained how the points work very well thanks!....but my only issue is that the background noise is very annoying and loud... Is there any way to either turn the background noise off or down but leave the other noises when targets are hit on?

    • @dontmesswiththeman
      @dontmesswiththeman 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m tempted to get one too, but that “space sounds” background noise kind of turns me off to it. Usually I end up on TNTs videos because I find a machine for sale that I’m unfamiliar with and Todd’s videos are a wealth of information.

    Hi Todd, Thanks for another great vid! Is there a reason most playfields are made of wood instead of some kind of plastic or resin which would keep their shine for longer?

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This was an experiment...and it seemed to hold up just fine in my opinion...I heard that the screw holes holding the parts loosened up quite a bit, but so did the wood playfields! Just not sure!

    old game ,but i think it makes a great gameplay. maybe if you lose a ball and the bonus roulette wheel turns you go in to minus balls.

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes...they must have planned for that with the minus 2 balls in the backglass!

  • @riverdealer
    @riverdealer 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    was there a setting for the 'subtract a ball' to actually add a ball or was that a 'wiring hack' because one arcade i played at actually did that

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not think so...look in the manual that's on www.ipdb.org and see...it can easily be downloaded for free.

    • @gallimead
      @gallimead 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You'd have to jump or short a connection on the roulette wheel. Not easy.

    Todd, are the playfield graphics embedded right in the plastic or is it painted/decal?

    • @tntamusements

    So I bought the machine...AND there IS a way of turning off that annoying background music. you can program it with the reset button...don't remember how I did it, but I did it. So now all you hear is the basic noises when you hit the targets only!... The only thing I don't like about the playfield is that when you try to hold the ball with the right flipper, there is no one way gate (like you have on the left flipper) so if the ball is going at any speed above a crawl, the ball will go up the side and then down the right chute and into the toilet!...very frustrarting as one of the main functions of a good pinball machine is that you should be able to hold the ball easily with the flippers IMHO... The left flipper has a one way gate so no issue there...I'm seriously thinking of making my own gate and adding it in...everyone who plays it complains about this issue.

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes...ALL bally games with the newer sound board have several sound options that does include no background sounds...but there are few other sounds, so it makes it pretty quiet! And yes, there are plenty of people that modify their games to make them more fun and les annoying like losing the ball down the side!
