Great video and this is not to pick any fault, but the crossover delete is not necessary either to see 300BHP. A standard airbox mod and a good panel filter is just fine. And will keep the bay looking stock. Win!
@@chrissingleton8473 Had 6 SRI Turbos, 10 GSI Astras, 6 Astra VXR’s all varied states of tune, so I think I’m well placed to say if it’s highly noticeable or not. Also it’s much harder to keep intake temps down with an Open air filter as apposed to enclosed one.
@@mikeprice8500 i don't run cone it's 1.9 cdti air box done by Courtenay sport they even said when they did the mapping they breath alot better an don't heat soak the same an use the same set up on there track car
@@cloake494 whole different what you sad. Of course these days from the 100 cars 95 is used as sh** box. Lot of *** hole tune them with bad things and more…. the basic engine is not too hard to kill them as factory setup and tuned setup. That’s why recommend rebuild them. That’s the first good step. But if somebody rebuild the engine full original than you can tune them Phase/Stage1-2-3-4 max. Basicly the 1 is only map. You can use it. Better than original was but there will be always make everything better.
Ive got all of the above but i have a 2.5 inch exhaust thats how i bought it, its been mapped but i havent got a dyno chart. Im not sure what kind of power its running its nippy enough when it puts it down
@@JamesBalazs I drive out snowdonia a lot and I just feel anymore be completely wasted obviously not a straight line warrior but definitely good enough, I have k06 hybrid on too good for 350 I believe but I’d definitely want to forge engine for that. Definitely safe n reliable as it is for now

mine was running 298 however the turbo intake compressor wheel has decided to blow its self up >.> haha so new turbo incoming !!
Mines 280bhp I’m happy with it plenty fast enough for roads I go on

With only remap you get 280 hp 459 nm. Thats what I got with remap and everything stock. Exhaust is the only thing you need for 300+
Oh boy, sure can't wait to go around neighborhoods and night with my 3 in exhaust fitted to my annoying 4 cyl
its the driver, not the exaust.
