    You could tell Trump was moved that he was so loved. Don’t forget he went from 8 years ago where they were fighting at the convention to even have him as their nominee. Now, you have people with tears in their eyes feeling a way about a President they have never felt in their lifetime. In moments, he became historical even in the eyes of his political rivals. It has to be powerful to experience that. Surreal.

    As a legal, naturalized immigrant to the U.S. I ALWAYS vote, no matter what. I HATED Trump in 2016 but I held my nose and voted for him because there was NO WAY, I was voting for Hillary Clinton (whose HQ office was 5 blocks away from my old apartment in Brooklyn Heights). But boy oh boy...was I in for the surprise of a lifetime. Trump turned out to be THE BEST president, this foreign policy scholar has EVER seen...lived under and read about!

    I'm a Canadian bartender who lives and works in Canada. To many of my customers and coworkers, I am the NUT who loves Trump. For many years I've been following what's going on in American politics because it's important to know that whoever is voted in, ultimately their policy decisions are likely to affect not just Americans, but the world. In the meantime, back at my bartending job I have been laughed at, ridiculed, chastised, and berated all by people who are brainwashed and being gaslit by the bought-and-paid-for, left-leaning MSM. Whats astounding to me is that many of the Trump-haters here don't have a FKN clue about any of Trump's 2016-2020 accomplishments! Despite corrupt Biden's obvious cognitive issues and America-destroying policies, they STILL think he'd be the better president! It's INSANE! On the flip side, many of those who once hated Trump have since come to their senses. Here, we have the very embarrassing, fake, worst PM (Justin ugh Trudeau) in the history of Canada but next October we, too, have an opportunity to vote him out with our top pick Pierre Poilievre who, more than likely, will work well with your president to reshape a "true democracy" back to North America. God bless Trump and the USA! God bless Canada! GO TRUMP GO! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!

      We Americans are more than happy to work with our Canadian brothers and sisters to get both of our countries back in the right path. Admittedly it’s been tricky in the last decade or so, I think Americans do see an identity crisis with Canadians and understand that we perhaps influence it too much and are stuck wanting to help but know that we possibly could make things worse. Just know that while many Canadians are not fans of the US, doesn’t change that Americans here do love you guys and will support you guys no matter what. 🇺🇸❤️🇨🇦

      Canadian here, too, who wishes we had a Trump for PM. I can't discuss politics with many people I know, even close friends. I wonder when they became brain-dead, as they can't see the devastation under Biden & the prosperity & peace in the Trump years. I'll be voting Poilievre: never voted JTrudeau, though many years ago supported his dad as PM.

      Yeah, weird huh. When he was guest staring on TV shows and in movies. When he was the host of the apprentice. For the better part of 6 decades in public life 5 of them, most people thought he was great.
      There were always critics to be fair, but they were rational for the most part.
      But he becomes president...suddenly, literally a 1940s dictator.

      @@sugarkitty4777 that's funny considering that all of the NYC elites loved him, they openly gushed whenever he came around, and hell, they practically gave him keys to the city in the aftermath of 9/11, for what he was doing to make NYC the "go to" place again. And that last part was going on even before the Trade Towers, when he began to help put the city back together after the mafia was broken in the 80s and 90s. Vance we can point out and say he has grown, has character to admit he was wrong and is changing direction. Something that the left lacks is the human natural quality to allow people to learn, something that Americans used to understand that is something that made us stand out from the rest of the world. The 1st go round for Trump, I told my grandson I didn't think he'd get elected because he is so volatile, I did vote for him.
    JD Vance as VP gives me great hope that whatever they are able to accomplish, JD can continue in a possible presidency of his own.

    • @johns7530
      @johns7530 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's an intelligent and reasonable take. My opinion of Trump has changed a lot from 8 years ago as well. There is nothing wrong with changing your opinion, it's better than being rigid and never admitting when you are wrong, or listening to people. Ironically that is Trump's biggest character flaw. If he admitted being wrong even once in a while, it would really help his image.

    • @crocodilegrundee4514
      @crocodilegrundee4514 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ve liked him for a while, but that cemented it with me. When a man can admit he was wrong about something, that really shows his character and integrity. Not a lot of people are willing to do that.

      As much as I like Trump, yours is a reasonable take as well. Trump doesn’t like to show weakness, and that’s good for many things, but it can sometimes go a little too far. I’m sure in his private life he shows more humility, but he thinks it shows only weakness in his public life. That’s not ALWAYS the case however. A little humility could go a long way with his image.

    My father was a WWII combat Marine who fought in the Pacific. He too grew up exceedingly poor, his father disabled from his own service in the trenches of France during WWI. My father never reached the pinnacles that Vance has but I know if he were still alive he would be so thrilled that a fellow Marine is in line to become the next Vice President and eventually even possibly the President of the United States. He would get such a kick out of it. Semper fi dad ❤
