Nice job Frank. The only thing I wouldn’t do is remove the cables from the panel if you don’t have to. I’d also suggest working with the window closed and realizing you could wrap the power mirror cord around the window track on reinstalling.

ABSOLUTELY UNREAL VIDEO….just did it myself, never done shii in my car before took me hour and ten…mechanic wanted to charge 300 with the part…got the part and with this video did it for 40 bucks total

Pro tip : Roll the window down before you get started. Otherwise the window will prevent you from accessing one of the 3 bolts that holds the mirror in.

The new side view mirror attaches with the last three screws he attempted to remove. Once you receive your part in the mail you’ll understand the hard part was talking the door apart and not replacing the mirror hope this helps.

Thank you. Great video, and though I didn't do it myself I'm going to second the advice from Adnan S to roll down the window beforehand.
It came off easily enough, but I had a tough time getting that top bolt (of the two "stacked" ones) back on because the bottom of the window partly covers it. And yes, I went "fishing" several times. In fact, I'd consider one of the necessary tools to be something like what I constructed: a dowel rod (in my case really a very thin piece of leftover baseboard shoe moulding) with a small magnet duct taped onto one end.

I had the car as a rental :P & I thought I might as well since this body style was brand new this year and no content was made on this matter. BUT, for sure I hope this will help someone in the future when the car is older. Remove the interior piece near the glass. Remove 3 more pieces of plastic. Remove the 3 Philip screws. Disconnect some pins, some balls, and one more plastic piece. Remove 3 nuts (ahaha nuts) and remove mirror. Hit the undo when everything is all good.

Frank Hong man thank you this video did help so much it’s true no one has made any videos on these model camrys my girl just got her driver side mirror completely broken off by some idiot driver the part alone ran me 300 bucks from Toyota so at least I can save me some labor costs thanks 🙏🏼

Roll the window down all the way to access the three 10mm nuts holding the side mirror in place otherwise you won't be able access the two nuts at the top.

you forgot to plug something back in when you reinstalled it - most likely the tracks that you slide out by hand
