This is one of the best albums from the genius ARR. Kudos to the lyricist, singers and all the technicians. Honestly, I got hooked on to the entire album since the release. The similar effects like Dil Se, Taal, Bombay, Roja and many more to list. But this is definitely on the top 5 as a complete album. The more I hear, I was able to capture the layers and the sound of each instrument. So refreshing from the current auto tune and version 2.0s. Typical ARR isn't it? Ahh, we saw the movie last night and loved how once the movie ends, it reads ‘A film by… A R Rahman’ before anything else. And rightly so! His music is everything. The movie isn’t perfect and the execution is flawed in terms of character development and depth! But trust us, this movie has it’s heart at the right place ❤️

What an Album by Rahman sir...first Mimi...now Atrangi re....Such a variation in each song ....starts with fun song n catchy trumpets n Daler sab punching his way in...to already hit chaka chak ...but what way surprising was the way Tere rang starts n how it blends classic n semi classical n with great vocals by Haricharan n Shreya ma'm ...n unexpected turn with Little Little catchy tune which might grow on you slowly n vocals by Dhanush himself n hiral...n next 2 are Arjit singh taking on control...what a way to use Arjit for Tumhien Mohabbat hai which is easily the soothing song of the album n Then the hook line rait zara si still ringing in mind from the time teaser released....n the last song Toofan si kudi gives me vibe of Rahman sirs older albums in early 2000 like takshak, or the o maria or jumbalika jumbalika,shaklaka baby ...after long we are getting away from useless remixes....
Bollywood failed to recognize the album of Ranjhana. Hope it doesn't miss this time. It's been long since seeing ARR in the stage of film fare. It was for rockstar the last time I think? And one more think the level of respect ARR has among the Bollywood actors and technicians is always on the higher side comparing Kollywood. So, it's always a bliss watching ARR's name in the nomination and winning. And himself walking up to the stage with a smile with fellow musicians clapping and legends like Amitabh ji cheering.
After Rockstar, I was not sure if he was best in any year. Although Raanjhanaa was brilliant, there was still Lootera by Amit Trivedi. But winner was Aashiqui 2 which I didn't agree. In 2014, he was again terrific with Highway, but then Haider was there too. Winner was 2 states and that was a stupid decision. He certainly deserves for Atrangi Re. But Shershah album eas so popular. Anyway, let's see.

My favorites: Track #4 Little Little (the percussions section at the end part is absolutely stunning). Track #7 Toofan Si Kudi (the Flamenco style hooked me! I'm hypnotized!). I'll play this whole soundtracks in repeat.
Akshay was not needed in this movie. He just wants to be in every other movie. If they really wanted to make a love triangle they should’ve considered a hero that suits Sara, (age wise at least) akshay looks like heroines big brother..like literally 🙄

What an Album by Rahman sir...first Mimi...now Atrangi re....Such a variation in each song ....starts with fun song n catchy trumpets n Daler sab punching his way in...to already hit chaka chak ...but what way surprising was the way Tere rang starts n how it blends classic n semi classical n with great vocals by Haricharan n Shreya ma'm ...n unexpected turn with Little Little catchy tune which might grow on you slowly n vocals by Dhanush himself n hiral...n next 2 are Arjit singh taking on control...what a way to use Arjit for Tumhien Mohabbat hai which is easily the soothing song of the album n Then the hook line rait zara si still ringing in mind from the time teaser released....n the last song Toofan si kudi gives me vibe of Rahman sirs older albums in early 2000 like takshak, or the o maria or jumbalika jumbalika,shaklaka baby ...after long we are getting away from useless remixes....

Bollywood failed to recognize the album of Ranjhana. Hope it doesn't miss this time. It's been long since seeing ARR in the stage of film fare. It was for rockstar the last time I think? And one more think the level of respect ARR has among the Bollywood actors and technicians is always on the higher side comparing Kollywood. So, it's always a bliss watching ARR's name in the nomination and winning. And himself walking up to the stage with a smile with fellow musicians clapping and legends like Amitabh ji cheering.
Was expecting Filmfare for Dil bechara album
After Rockstar, I was not sure if he was best in any year.
Although Raanjhanaa was brilliant, there was still Lootera by Amit Trivedi. But winner was Aashiqui 2 which I didn't agree.
In 2014, he was again terrific with Highway, but then Haider was there too. Winner was 2 states and that was a stupid decision.
He certainly deserves for Atrangi Re. But Shershah album eas so popular. Anyway, let's see.
