Quick tip on the Etsy story. Going from the 7 slots on a J grill to 6 slots does not get you completely around J's trademark. Anything that is confusingly similar to a trademark can be an infringement. Be careful out there.
If it's easily confusable with the legit thing (logo, trademark, etc), then yes. When you look at that tray, you immediately think "Jeep" , so it can be considered confusable to the "average" person.
@@steelsunpi that's a stretch. I agree with the removal of the actual Jeep labeled trays. But I would argue the generic grille of a vehicle is just that and it's not even accurate for a Jeep brand vehicle.
@@mtnjakI immediately thought Jeep with what you are calling the generic tray. Nobody will notice one has 6 bars and Jeep has 7, it is close enough that he needed to be shut down. It’s amazing how many people think they can rip off trademarked brands and get away with it.
Asaaan we just got the same treatment. One the favourite bit came up it cut off so just like the big corps. So now I unsub and I also run a channel so I guess I hose guys will be leaving in oo.

That tray, he charges $7.99? I'd like to know more how he can do that. I would have more than that in the material let alone the labor involved.
If I read that correctly, $7.99 is just for the CNC file so you can re-create that tray.
