- Cars is a 2006 adventure racing game published by THQ. The game is based on the 2006 film.Taking place after the events of the film, the player controls the protagonist Lightning McQueen as he participates in the new racing season with the end goal of winning the Piston Cup for the first time in his career, while also racing and training with the local community of Radiator Springs. In the PSP version, the player again controls Lightning McQueen. After meeting and narrowly avoiding a collision with the Delinquent Road Hazards gang, he challenges them to a race to which they agree. The console versions feature the full voice-over cast from the film, including the likes of Owen Wilson, Michael Keaton, Paul Newman, and Larry the Cable Guy. However in the PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS versions, Lightning McQueen is instead voiced by Keith Ferguson.
I have the feintest memory of this game from my childhood... but watching this video through slowly unlocked more and more.

Got this on mom’s PC in ‘06. This and the Barnyard THQ game were my favorite as a little kid, I spent hours playing these games. Oh my the memories this brought back. Thank you so much!

It was a surprise to me as a kid when they showed it to me. I remember having the right console to play it on but when we moved I never found out what happened to it, but was more bummed of the fact that I couldn’t play the game again since it’s been lost along with the console itself. Such nostalgia, I’m glad I could see the game play again. Thanks for uploading this, it unlocked a memory.
Just like the movies this game was a great classic. One of the several PS2 games I have fond memories of playing with my sis 🤙🏻

I loved playing this game on my PS2 when I was a little kid Lightning Mcqueen has always been my favorite character to play in the game.
I’m 19 now but when I was really really young I loved this game, I was obsessed with cars. I had one of them cars rugs and my dad would always play with me and I remember when we would go tractor tipping and man the memories
I just remember having a hard time getting the post cards on the canyons in radiator springs as a kid and getting frustrated with that. But aside from that this game was a blast to play and I still have it on the 360 to this day.

What’s the difference between Full Size and Compact? I only ever played Compact as a kid, and my PS2 copy got busted in like 2012.
Upload the story of Cars SuperDrive Hi-Octane game right away please? I want to see Doc Hudson’s Fabulous Hudson Hornet no. 51 paint job during the rest of the story and Lightning McQueen can be a Dinoco race car for the rest of the story after he wins a trophy in 1st place at Palm Mile Speedway.
