I would love to work on this Harvest Crew after High School... Loved Farming all my life and what's in this video is exactly what I wanna do... I watch this video all the time and it gets me pumped up.
One, Two, Thrrree combines Ha-ha-ha. Fourrr, Five, Six, Seven combines Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha. I love to count! (combines!) iHa-Ha-Ha. A great 'video'! Thank you taking the time to shoot and post this!!! I esp. loved the shot at: 2:36+, but it all was great! Thanks again!
Awesome boys. Have applied to be apart of one of the New Zealand crews coming over for the 2011 Harvest. This video just makes me want to come so much more. Awesome! Hope i am selected
idk about Lubbers Farms, but last time I talked to a friend of mine who drives a truck for South Fork Harvesters they run 7 combines and do custom cutting from Texas up to Canada. The largest ranch i can think of right now running in the US is about 840,000.
Looks great, it's a bit different here in Sweden. Our harvest is a disaster as usual. With 20 mm rain every day we can't do much. And a 30 ft combine isnt free only to have standing in the rain. I got to go to America. Great video BTW..!!!!!
Lubbers? That's a very Dutch name, there was a prime minister called Lubbers. Never saw something like this, AMAZING! You could do some real damage with that fleet! Unbelievable, what an operation!
That is just a small operation. I had worked for a farmer from Minto ND that had 10 machines 10 truchs and two wagons in the early 1980's. It was a lot of fun and a great experince. I was the service tech for them, had JD 6600.
beautiful videos and still shots. i am an old combine driver in my youth in NE and CALIF. do you have any place (ie website or fotobucker, etc) i could download any of your still shots for screensavers on my computer???
@TheMallalla They are a custom harvesting operation. They travel all over the United States havesting for about 7 months a year so I doubt your uncles farm harvests as much as they do......
my family owns hops i know that hops are about 4 or 5 dollars a pound but how much is wheat i heard its around 6 or 7 or did it drop but then again it cost about that much just to grow and harvest and pack and transport it along with paying the workers and having to replace equipment
keep up with safety. this stuff in dangerous guy with a farm next to ran over is farm help the other year do not get to manly or comfortable been driving combines solo sense 9 or 10 cant remember but i love the speed!
are you guys hiring i specialize with semi's and john deere tractors and also how the hell did you find someone to purchase so much wheat its hard to get contracts but thats probably just my family we grow hops
well it does take that big of a tractor when you have a 1500 bushel grain cart to haul around the field. your 220 hp tractor wouldn't be able to pull it fully loaded.
220 would probably just be enough but when you got up to speed it would get very scary to try to do anything. So retarded why carts don't have hydraulic or air brakes for the tractors with the high speed transmissons.

@TheMallalla They are a custom harvesting operation. They travel all over the United States havesting for about 7 months a year so I doubt your uncles farm harvests as much as they do......
