Very nice stand but the price is ridiculous! My Woo Audio stand is built of solid anodized aluminium and is sturdy as can be for only 130$.

I cannot believe how good the production quality of these older videos on the older set are. The positioning of everyone and the table is great. The table itself is way better. The scene around you is super nice and cozy, like a home. The lighting and the colour balance is excellent. Things aren't oversaturated. There's actual distance from the camera. Your audio is always top notch, but in these videos the visuals are on the same level. In the newer videos it feels like a step backwards in almost every aspect but audio. It is dramatic every time I come back to watch an older video. This was the best of the best. It feels extremely professionally done.

I prefer using a headphone case so that way it keeps the open back headphones clean

Built for people with more money than sense. The table or desk is still the most stable. No pressure on yoke or cable.

It's pretty damn kid proof! Now, if your kid is into throwing heavy objects around the house, might want to look into a lock for the door:).
Judging by the video, the STAND appears to be an extremely well engineered and thoroughly thought out product. Is it state of the art? No doubt. Is Abyss justified in pricing it however they want? They invented it, yeah. Am I going to purchase one? Can't afford one.
I use an upcycled drum hi-hat with cowbell on top. The bell's slightly curved topside shape is perfect for hanging headphones off and it's already music themed. Also there's a wingnut halfway up to extend or lower it that's perfect for hanging an extra cable or 2. Later, I'm going to cut a slot into the middle of the bottomside of the bell to hang IEMs inside and line both sides of the slot with adhesive black felt so the metal doesn't scratch the IEMs.
Well done sir! You deserve a teachers gold star and a Noddy badge. Maybe even a Noble Prize for Scientific Discovery.

Yes the stand is expensive, and yes it is likely perceived to be overpriced by many, but at the end of the day, it is hard to deny that this is a quality stand.
You either appreciate it enough to shell out the dough, or just don't.
I feel like people find any reason or excuse to channel their hate and negativity these days.
On a lighter note, good job on the stand, it looks like a premium stand built like a tank similar to the TC headphones.
I always felt that stands out there were all kind of sub par at best myself so I felt this was a product long over due. (I also had the ROOMS stand and even those were just passable for its price imo)

This stand is stretching headband. Headphone Auditions Amsterdam did a better solution for holding AB-1266 but also far from great design.
Latest style AB1266 headbands have had replaceable stretch rings for a few years now, and overall stretch over time is far less than the old style. Stretch or breakage is no longer an issue. Not to mention this stand works with ANY headphone.
