Happy Gemini Decan Birthday, Toni! ♊✨ I've Mercury in Gemini.. so say no more. :) I'm always the quizzical one wanting to know different perspectives, etc. GREAT question regarding TOHL decans. 👍 I like Payne Towler's decan associations of the planet's elements to match with the astrological sign element while still adhering to the 7 traditional planets. The Golden Dawn decan system is a great place to start working with the decans, but the planetary/sign placements with some of the decans can seem off at times. Especially the Thoth decan placement of the court cards. But that's the "Thoth deck perspective." Attila's Unified Esoteric Tarot introduces all 10 planets and creates a new perspective of working with all planets and placing them within the major arcana. All in all.. I enjoy exploring all these different systems and working with them in various ways.
@@mysticrosetarot888 do you find the courts placements of any help over the assigned minor per decan? I'm making the assumption (boldly without knowing) that the planet and astrological signs remain the same.
@@AntoinetteTarot The court cards are their own story. I've seen the Aces at times can relate to the Pages. All based on the context of the reading. The Thoth Tarot assigns the Court cards in a different manner basing them from 20°-20° of one sign into the next. There is no planet placement but what changes is the degrees between the signs and the assignment of the court cards. For instance, "Knight of Swords" is placed from May 11th-June 10th and governs the decan cards 7 of Disks and 8+9 of Swords. It makes sense when broken down, but in a reading the court cards could relay a different message.
