A great comprehensive guide for what to pack. It's so true, why go all that way and then regret not packing a lens, especially if you are only going to go once in your lifetime.
Valuable experience. I'd also add that you should get a good backpack, which can get pricy, and never skip leg day and core muscles ;) that weight won't carry itself
Hi Ewan, I have chosen the G9ii and G lens purely on the weight factor. And I love it. What G lens would you recommend for Aurora or Astro photography?
It's a great camera the G9II! I've spent a lot of time shooting auroras with the original G9 as it turns out. Laowa have a gorgeous little 7.5mm F2 lens and that is a peach when combined with the G9. Can recommend :) Delivers effectively 15mm, but you also get F2 and that's always nice for auroras.
PS those macro shots are BEEEEEAUTIFUL!!
You never know what treasures you'll find on a beach in Norway, and in winter the play of ice and snow is even more special!

It's a good workout in the Arctic winter. 100m in deep snow feels like a mile!
Enjoyed!
Thanks Gordon!
