We've quite a number of the P.S.I. containers as part of the Matchbox Harbor playset. That set shipped with 'play-related vehicles' - including a Sambron jacklift and an articulated truck & flatbed trailer (using the freeway gas tanker's prime mover) and even a container ship. Had the set as a li'l whelk and have both versions of the sets nowadays.
the big daf was quite expensive because there doesnt seem to be a lot of metal on it. but, its a dutch daf and i am happy that mb and even lesney made dafs.
Expensive it was, but that's usually the case in a small privately owned toy shop, I just wanted to get an example of one, and it's the only store I ever found them. They had an American style rig too, I left that one behind. It's cool indeed that Matchbox has made some Dutch trucks, hopefully they still have the Daf license and make some new ones...
These are from a bygone era. Matchbox doesn't see the potential in bringing these back, with so many collectors now. They would sell. Question is, could they get the licenses and again 🤔??
Hi great review and enthusiasm, i like your attitude . I also collect transport/ Haulage vehicles . Have you seen the matchbox ultra trucks ? They have great detail and rubber tyres etc. They have a few european trucks in the collection , Scania and a beautiful DAF Holsten Pils brewery truck . I bought my collection in dribs and drabs on ebay and all are mint ,but they are getting more expensive. Regards.
Love these castings, thanks for sharing. 👍👍
Thanks for watching!

I like all truck and trailer you have
Awesome show, I found one of those old matchbox tankers at a market the other day for $3 it has Leyland on the cab and Caltex on the tank
Wow, congrats! That's a nice piece to find for so little money.
I have put it in the mystery box for the future, along with some other cars from my market day
Cool!
