It was an honor and pleasure to learn, perform, and record this piece as a member of the choir! In performance we were out of sight in a curved hallway behind the large altar area (where the orchestra sat), following the conductor on a TV screen. Our sound was thus channeled left and right down the stone-back hallway, emptying out well to the left and right of the altar area. One audience member described the effect as "It seemed like the walls were singing." For the recording sessions we were in the center of the cathedral sanctuary maybe 50 yards from the orchestra -- can you say "Watch the stick!"
"Why haven't more people heard of this?" was asked two years ago, and now - two years later - there are still only a few comments. I don't get it. This is music with a soul, beautifully performed and recorded. How is it being overlooked?
I heard the first three out of four movements of the work here and bought the cd. It is radiant, ecstatic music. The cd doesn't have the text of the work which is probably locked away at the publisher. Like most contemporary music it is 'hire only' so the general public can't own the score or even look at it. The first movement sounds like it has verses with a refrain, so it is important to have a translation. The chorus sing in Greek the words "Transfigured" and "Divine Love".

I believe my soul will awaken at the Lord's call. I hope this is the first thing I hear.❤❤❤❤❤❤ Alleluia.
One of the most beautiful things I've ever heard
