@Sharonda Renee we can agree to disagree... that's fine! I created this channel with my sister for us to share our experiences and opinions. And, in my opinion, there are appropriate and inappropriate swimsuits. I don't have a problem with skin. However, I do feel that young boys don't need to see women in thong bikinis. Furthermore, I'm not a fan of Disney, so unfortunately, that is not an option for me, but thank you for the suggestion.
It’s called class and integrity. Period. But these new women have none. So I understand your perspective. Most of these new women lack common sense and they have never had a lady to show them how to be one and how to carry themselves because they momma was clubbing too.

This ladies and gentlemen is why you choose a longer Cruise typically during the week and a cruise that is during the school year. It will be significantly less kids and more adults.

I've cruised this ship and loved it. It honestly is what you make of it. If you already have a bad perception of something, every little thing you see/experience you're going to nitpick at it. Were there some flaws last time I was on this ship, yes but again I didn't let those minor inconveniences bother me or stop me from rebooking and I'm actually going back this month.

I’ve taken this cruise before and I’m currently booked again. My family and I were fine. Didn’t experience the weed smell, the kids didn’t bother us, the bikinis…it’s a cruise and it’s hot. The poop smell isn’t just on that ship, I smell it when they’re emptying out at the port. Maybe Royal or Virgin will be a better fit for y’all.

Royal has the same smell in the bathroom by day 3 its unfortunately normal they cant dump every day i guess
@@kellygolden6363 We traveled on Oasis of the seas recently and experienced clogged toliets almost everyday but we didn't have a bad smell gratefully.
😩just returned from a 5 day on this ship and I NEVER PLAN TO CRUISE ON IT AGAIN : too many thongs , no cover ups, no dress code, too much loud talking and hollering in halls, knocking on my door by kids and them running up down halls, just no class at all on this ship . NOT for me neither!

We just recently returned from our Oasis cruise and WE AGREE!!!!
Did a 7 day on Wonder of the Seas and was completely underwhelmed. It was definitely an upgrade from Carnival, though.
That smell was not random, this ship used to be the Carnival Triumph which had an incident years ago called 'The Poop Cruise from Hell' it was crazy.

Ladies you should ditch Carnival and do ROYAL CARIBBEAN. Try their Oasis Class Ships ( Allure, Symphony, Harmony, Wonder and Icon) and I promise you will NOT want to do another carnival cruise. I use to LOVE the carnival line but they have allowed their standards to go DOWN. Yes, the food is so mediocre, most of the fleet ships are dated and not upgraded. However, Sunrise has been upgraded and is better than most of the older ships BUT that use to be the "Poop Ship" and there is NO amount of renovations that would have convinced me to go on THAT ship. Next, Carnival has started to attract many groups of travelers that love to PARTY, drink to get drunk, fight, smoke weed, and just act a fool. Soooooooooooooo I guess Carnival feels most of their guests dont pay attention to quality and only want quantity of bad food and liquor. Lastly, Carnival fares are cheap so they attract many budget base planners and unbeknownst to them Carnival is not the cheapest because they à la carte all other services and extras. This is their "nickel and diming" and by time you finish buying more stuff you have paid the same price or more than the other cruise lines. Therefore, I highly suggest you just switch to Royal Caribbean, or NCL and even MSC. Best of luck.

I have been cruising on Celebrity and I have not looked back. Carnival is cool but not for us! The kids take over the Carnival ships and pick off the buffet with their hands. It’s crazy!!
We haven’t considered Celebrity, we have to look into it. 💯Agree CRAZY!!!

Just got off Carnival Sunrise November 2023. I agree with your comments. The food was horrible except for Guys Pig & Anchor , the bathroom sewage smell was gross, just nasty, and it seemed as if there were too many people booked on this cruise. As this was my 9th cruise, first on Carnival, it was not a good experience. Yes, butt checks were everywhere (ones that didn't need to have theirs out) and the weed smokers were very bold on the smoking deck (day and night). The drinks were good but the bars were packed. The pizza place served until 4 am and the lines were always long. BTW, the pizza didn't have much taste. Kids ran on the floors knocking on doors, but of course, after they encountered me, I didn't have a problem the rest of the cruise. However, you get what you pay for (inexpensive trip).
I really don't think this is only Sunrise that have these problems.

We can’t speak for other cruises. We can only speak to the experiences we have had. And, our other Carnival cruise did not have these problems.
The food was terrible, “cafeteria food” was an understatement, the smells in the bathroom was bad. The ship was rusty and old however we made the best of it. Had fun at the shows.
Me and my boyfriend are going on our very first cruise on October 1st. It’s on the Sunrise, Jamaica & Grand Cayman. I’ve heard so many mixed reviews. I’ve heard people loving it, and then others saying they didn’t. What I was told is, cruising is what you make of it! I’m excited to go on my first cruise and I think I’ll enjoy the sunrise ship 🥰
We hope you and your boyfriend enjoy yourselves. Cruising is 💯 % what you make it, we could not agree more! We enjoyed ourselves. Feel free to watch our whole Sunrise series. We cover Embarkation Day, Sea Days, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman. If judging the totality our our experience it was a Good Vacation. In this video specifically, we are just addressing why we personally wouldn’t book it again. Please feel free to come back after your cruise and share with us your experience.
I’ve been on 12 cruises with Carnival and it’s definitely what you make it. I am 1000% confident y’all are going to have an AMAZING time! The concerns addressed in this video are dumb 🙄

What’s important to us may not be important to you and we can respect that! Hence, the name of the video is “why WE will never rebook carnival sunrise.” As stated in the video if you are not bothered by the things that bothered us… go ahead a book this cruise!!!!!

If you all don't like kids on a cruise you need to try Virgin cruises. It's an all adult cruise. I understand the half naked complaint but it is a cruise, you may need to try a cruise with older people. Because even on Virgin you might run into half naked people because it is a cruise, lol. You probably need to pay more and book a higher tier type company ( it's different tier companies)if you have all these issues. Carnival is considered lower tier, you need to book a higher tier company if you want all these demands (less 🖤 ppl, no/less kids, dress code..etc). Lol..
Also, just because it's a lot of 🖤 ppl doesn't mean that it had to be a deal 🤦🏽♀️, that part of the video was cringy.
But I agree with the food part, the food wasn't the best. I've also heard people talk about the sewage smell on the lower decks of the ship. That particular ship is a smaller ship, I prefer larger ships. We are trying Virgin next year. 😊

1. We don’t mind children on a cruise in fact we choose this cruise because the plan was to bring our godchildren with us. Our problem is with parent that have not trained their children and then bring them on ships and don’t monitor/ supervise them.
2. We don’t mind swimsuit, what we are saying is there is appropriate and inappropriate swimsuits ON A FAMILY FRIENDLY CRUISE. When I book this cruise through Carnival I specific inquired about family friendly, children friendly cruises and this cruise was marketed to me as such. I was not looking for an adult only cruise. And in my opinion, those that want to get naked should go on the adult only cruise. Again, this is my opinion and we can agree to disagree.
3. We will probably try many cruise lines, as this is a travel and entertainment channel. However, we don’t have a problem with Carnival as a whole. We have gone on another Carnival ship and enjoyed it immensely.
3. There were deals, the travel companies were trying to jumpstart travel after the beginning shut down. Sorry if that was cringy but that is a fact. LOL😂🤣
Carnival is considered the fun ship and I had my younger siblings with me and they didn’t want to cruise with the seniors. I believe you should be able to have fun, at an affordable rate on a Family Cruise. LOL. We are going on Oasis of Sea next with Royal Caribbean... So we will be sure to let you know how that goes for us☺️

So I’m 14, and I am raised lol I promise I always get told I’m an adult living in a 14 year old body 😂 I would never smoke, I would never ask to cut, and my parents buy the chat and they are always asking me where I’m at. 😂 I’m so sorry that your experience was bad I have been cruising since I was 2. And the dress code the people in Speedo’s and bikinis should not be aloud to where that on the lido deck. The adult pool is in the back and they should have a pool in serenity I don’t agree with a lot of things that carnival dose and they should require for the dress code no tight bikinis, no Speedo’s, and if they are going to allow that PUT A POOL IN SERENITY. And in the buffet they should ether require gloves or they just serve it. The breakfast buffet is not good it taste like that quick easy oven food it is not good at least the breakfast isn’t. The sea day brunch is good to me anyways, sorry you had a bad experience. YES GHE SEWER IS HORRIBLE I have never smelled it in the bathroom I have only smelled it in the hallways on the lower decks.

I booked this cruise because my daughter and her friends are going for her birthday. We cruise on Royal Caribbean yearly! I really don’t want to be disappointed with Carnival!
We hope you enjoy. Now having been on Oasis of the Seas this ship does not compare. However, it’s a completely different class ship. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, we personally just wouldn’t book it again.

I went on the Carnival Sunrise back in October and I don’t have any complaints it wasn’t too many kids if it was I didn’t see them maybe October is a better time to cruise

I think it depends on the ship and destination. We haven’t given up on Carnival all the way. We plan to give them a chance to redeem themselves.

You Need to try the new ships, Carnival Celebration and Mardi gras. You may need to change cruise lines for a different type of cruise experience and clientele ROYAL and NCL, CELEBRITY, PRINCESS,
for a new cruise experience.

My husband and I experienced the same thing on Sunrise. It was good we were in the Cloud 9 Balcony room. We didn't see all those kids until we went to where the pool was. Kids all over the place. In September!! My God.

Yes, it was September 2022. It was truly an experience. I didn't know so many people took their kids out of school for a five-day cruise.
When the wife and I went 2 years ago the only complaint we had was the pizza. There was no pride in he prepartion and it really showed. IT SUCKED!

You need to go on a private cruise and parents do need to watch their children
You get what you pay for basically. You should’ve done some research first. Don’t cruise when school is out if you don’t want to deal with noise kids. I make the best of it. I have cruised at different times and I’m gonna get my money worth.
Ummmmm…. Okay, thanks for engaging in the comments… but just for clarity we did do research. We did this video because these things that bothered us was not disclosed in the research. Secondly, noisy children were not our problem. However, we do agree if one doesn’t want to deal with children, cruise while the children are in school. That’s a great point that we also shared in the video.
Carnival magic buffet is the WORST. NO flavor and no variety.The other vendors, such the pizza and hamburgers, lines too long. Thanks you for heads up.
I agree with the point about the kids needing to be well behaved, but what does that have to do with carnival sunrise specifically? Can’t this happen on any cruise?
I watched embarkation day on the Sunrise. By viewing the sail away party, your cruise appeared to be highly diversified. Our population is 6x more white than black. So by those numbers you should expect 1/6 of the crowd to be black, 1/12 Asian, and 1/75 native, Pacific islander. I agree the Sunrise is an extremely noisy ship!
I had to rewatch our Embarkation Day to try to see what you saw lol!🤣 The ship wasn't as diverse as we would prefer.
Not understanding number 2. You say it’s not family friendly but then proceed to talk about what they offer for the family 😂 and that there are kids there 🤔🙃🧐 is that not family friendly if there are families on the boat 🛥️

How can people even bring weed on a cruise? I thought we still had to follow the same protocols as flying? Also you guys are hilarious. I just booked a cruise on this ship but everything you said is what I expected honestly lol. We went to Royal last time and my friend said it wasn’t lit enough 😂. Hey! They have rules and policies, but it does NOT seem that Carnival is strict on enforcing them. Now, I’m not sure how the cruisers got the weed on the ship but all I know was the weed was ON THERE! LOL!

Hello TWSE, you need to do an Alaskan cruise from Seattle. I went to Icy Strait, Juneau, Skagway, Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, Ketchikan and Victoria, British Columbia. I've been on 15 cruise and this by far was my favorite cruise.

LOL, cruising is not for everyone... but honestly, I don't think you should decide not to cruise from this one video. There are plenty of cruises, each with a different vibe... you just need to find the right cruise for you.

Yikes!!! This makes me nervous!! I have a cruise booked on the Sunrise for June 2024 and I pray that it's not as bad as yours was. On a lighter note, do you have a carnival ship that is your favorite? Also, have you been on other cruise lines? If so, which would you recommend? I'm in that between stage..not crazy about being around roudy, disrespectful kids but I also don't want to be around only 70 year olds either.
LOL , the trip wasn’t all bad please check out our other Sunrise videos to get an overall view of the trip in its entirety. These are just the reasons we wouldn’t go on Sunrise AGAIN! But overall it was a pretty OKAY cruise.
As far as other ships, with Carnival we have only been on the Splendor leaving from California. We really enjoyed that cruise but it has been a few years since then.
Right now we are fans of Royal Caribbean. We just came back from a cruise and will have the videos uploaded shortly. We were on the Oasis of the Seas and OMGoodness I can’t say enough GOOD things about it. We HIGHLY recommend this ship and are looking forward to trying more RC ships in the future.

Hi Kristalsims, thank you for watching… So far we have been on two Carnival cruises. The first one was GREAT!! This one… not so much.
Just went in May on the same cruise ship with my family and had my 1 year old with me and we had a great time. Everyone was nice, meet wonderful people. Weed is not allowed on the ship and some ports had sniffing dogs and the food was also good as well for a better food experience go to the dining room. Didn't experience any of what you mentioned.
We're very glad to hear that your experience was better than ours. Weed was not allowed on the ship the issue we encountered was that it was not enforced and there were definitely dogs!! We did voice our concerns to Carnival and it sounds like maybe some changes have taken place since we traveled.

Just booked a suite on this boat and it was pricey. Hope I’m not disappointed
Apart from the smell, we didn't have any other complaints about our suite. It was very comfortable. Just make sure to bring a charging port if you will have multiple devices.
Very honest review! I’m loyal to Royale. I can’t do the drug sniffing dogs they have now.

Carnival offered me this as a free cruise and I'm thinking about going in September. I always Cruise off-season mainly in September October November or beginning of because it's cheaper and you don't have all of the same issues as when you go during peak season

Just came back and it's a No for me....food was not good...Guy Burger and Pasta was the best........security just informed a mother that her precious twin girls was smoking weed..i didn't hear the rest but they knew to do it while the ship was moving because they put a man off the ship due to smoking in the cabin
Yep, this is exactly what we were talking about... I guess it works for some but it's a hard NO for us.
Couldn't watch the video. I was instantly annoyed that she was chewing gum while talking. I may be crazy, but for some reason it was annoying the heck out of me.....

There were several negatives about the ship but the biggest was prob the random sewer smell that I experienced on the main deck and in the cabin hallways in the after part of the ship. Next would prob be the small pools and icky looking balcony. Overall, I still had fun, though.
Agreed, overall we had lots of fun as well!!!! And, you're right now that you'veve mentioned it the pools were really small. We didn't trust the pools so we never got into one of them....

I will definitely not be doing any Jamaica cruises in August period. It seems like you were not on the right cruise everyone was lit but not on 🔥 with the right 🔥🤔 They were in need of a Fresh 🔥 to burn away all the smells and the spirits that were loose on that Cruise😂😂😂 I can't wait for your cruise to Canada. I Don’t go in August on any cruise. Hurricane season and that’s why it’s so cheap and another reason why more kids because it’s cheaper.. but I pray people control their kids I’m taking my babies but I’ma watch my own kids or their grands will❤

We just got off this ship. Overall, fun experience but these ladies are right about raising your kids. At all hours of the night, teens and younger were just hanging around in the stairwells acting like fools. We heard a 10 year old girl tell another one to “get her fat ass down here” and a 12 year old boy tell another girl that he’s here “for the pussy”. Parents smoking weed snd hanging out at the club. Sad.

Don’t be scared, people may have different experiences… Plus, our cruise wasn’t bad. We just wouldn’t rebook it but we have other videos that give a fuller picture of the whole cruise.

Carnival is piss poor in general. Food is average drinks arnt great and itinerary arnt great either. U will get good service and have fun. But everything else stay away unless I’m huge group. Lowest cost. Lowest quality
