I wouldn't necessarily say "personal use" so much as "affordable use case". It can work with language models better than a standard x86 system, with a small compact package that's energy efficient. Certain workloads are going to run like a wonder on this thing, and at the same time sets a baseline for certain applications to be able to run on. Is it gonna replace grandmas old Gateway? No lol.
It wouldn't. No consumer on the planet has any use for AI. AI use cases are for scraping and processing huge amounts of data, and I do mean *HUGE* amounts of data. Its only really usefulness would be in medical research, but right now its main use case is Google, Facebook, Microsoft and other immense companies to spy on users on the internet in order to profile them, to better sell ads, services and steer public opinion.
@Tigerex966 A language model definately wouldn't be for the average user. I wouldn't say any $3000+ dollar computer is for the average user. These are for power users, or developers who can take advantage of the hardware. For the average user a Mac Mini is going to do wonders for them, but funny enough the upgraded M4 Pro, 64gb version would also do relatively well for language models. That starts encroaching on the price of this Nvidia pc.
@@CommentGuard717 Read up more on it. It's for the running and training of large language models. What would cost $100,000 to be done through cloud computing can now cost $3,000 and fit on your desk locally.
I prayed to all Gods of all meta and parallel universes, and my prayers were accepted; Artificial Intelligence arrived just in time, like a Swiss precision-watch. ❤🙏 Such mathematical beautiful perfection.
AI is only as good as the programmers that wrote the code and everyone knows how reckless that can be. It will support the biases that the coder codes in even using neural networking.
Sorry to intrup😊 !! My boy Jensen trying hard to explain about the RTX taking over the computer world in 1-2 coming yrs !! The future that speeding 10x than a supersonik.. 😮 and some dudes are crazy bout his jacket 😅😅
Steep price for a special purpose personal computer, but cheaper than using 2 40/5090's. Some people might find value in this, but for it to be mainstream, the price needs to come down a lot...
His jackets has more VRAM than my 4060

For the unknowing how would this be beneficial for personal use (if at all)/

He is not wearing lather jacket , he is wearing a elegator jacket.

WRONG! U need a fast connection to a cloud server! He’s just selling you on the system which has cool uses but that concept is just for extra money

May what year?
The Nvidia stock supposed to be double since then...
Looks like when the IT Crowd was presentimg "The Internet"😂😂😂😂
This might be the most important consumer product launch in a long time.
Although I don't know if everyone will have one because they advertise it for stuff like real-time video processing, so basically security cameras.

Possibly since the first computer. This is huge. And $3000 is relatively cheap. That's the cost of a high end PC.

Billionaires being billionaires… they control the profits and they control its implementation. That jacket says it all.
This guy gives me bad vibes like why is he telling the audience what the audience needs?
This dude completely ruined leather jackets for me.
His jacket game is on point though.
Does that look like leather?
If base your outfit on how another dude dresses then you’re pretty gay 😂
