He 100% is, I have only played on very hard and just finished up a run. I don't hurt him NEARLY that hard. Even when I hit him for 1k a shot, it doesn't even move his hp 1% each time. Meanwhile this dude from the intro before Smasher even did anything did nearly 25%.
Trust me, he's insanely tough, try fighting him yourself instead of watching a youtube video. This video could be cheating (as Ive seen before) or just using a busted build that counters him. I just fought him in 2.0 and it took me 20 tries before I finally managed to kill him.
More health i.e. drawn out fight does not equal to difficulty in this case, use sandy crit as much as you can, between 2 sandys just dodge, avoid him, pop sandy again voila rinse and repeat. I would not call that a lot of effort or being difficult. Especially while you can have second heart and sandy, the big bad boogie man of Night City goes down as quick as i make a butter toast with my katana.
@@FrankyFeedler I'm doing a 2.0 + very hard run. I got killed a lot at the beginning of the game but once you have an Iconic Tier 5++ Sandevistan that refreshes with kills, and cooldown reduction per kill it becomes easy unless you get attacked by +12 gonks with skulls. I haven't reached Smasher tho.
@@CuteMegaPanda Yep same for me, except I’ve also fought Smasher. Of course it’s doable, but way harder than a bunch of skulls. Which also show up halfway the Smasher fight btw.

As I’ve said before, way too easy even on very hard more health would have just taken longer that is all, smasher needs a complete rework with shorter animations and an actual working sandy
Same I used a Sandevistan/Katana + Shotgun build and it was super fun. The last shotgun perk is insane too. +100% damage to the next shot after a quick melee just obliterates everything, especially Rebecca shotgun.
Confirmed, on max armor. Haven't maxed mitigation though but cannot see that happening outside of stealth skills, where you'd simply lack the firepower.
@@red23rd1500 is max on cyberware. I only done this one playthrough and eventually killed him. Gave it some thought though: the berserk/melee build from the vid is quite easy mode in this sitch since some berserks make you invulnerable for its duration. Combined with Quantum Engine ..
Honestly I think Adem Smasher is easy for sun because their either playing this on easy/normal difficulty or their build on their character is just over powered
Dam, such a disappointment, i mean, V is way more experienced than David and got more ways to fight than just using chorme, but Adam doesnt even put a fight, he doesn't even use his sandevistan, or try to hack or anything, just dies like a piece of crap, gameplay wise, maxtac or sandevistan gangsters are way harder to kill than him.
you are lv50 and play easy mode? . i use overwatch 5++ (legendary iconic gun max lv) and shoot him with 220dmg, very hard mode. And you cut his hand in seconds :D
To everyone telling this is easy mode. It might be, but I play hard and he is easy with a katana, just go bananas on him with the katana, you can even ignore the guards.

one of the problem is too many "stupid animations". make him more aggressive. less pauses between attacks

@@brycethorner Just play on Very Hard. Max armor and he still single-hit-kills you with all of his attacks except bullets.

Oda was harder for me than Smasher. Gotta admit though, my Shotgun was God-level when I got to fight Smasher.

This guy is playing the easiest difficulty and probably made this build just to counter Adam/ is cheating. He’s tougher than he seems from this video.
