I had a dog who was a stray that I took in and she was very loyal until she passed away. She always waited for me to come home from work before she would come in the house. The day she passed away she waited for me to return from a doctor's visit and could barely move,then I sat down next to her and petted her and told her that if she wanted to go that she could. I told her that I loved her and thanked her for her loyalty and she stopped breathing. That was very humbling for her to wait so I could say goodbye. I really miss Coco.

2 of my cats went missing last year. While it's actually unlikely they're still alive, I still hope, and if I wasn't in a wheelchair I'd be looking all over the mountain for them. I like watching these videos, because they give me more hope, but they also make me sob uncontrollably.
I know how you feel, lost an cat and can't search it myself because disabled. And others don't care as much as me. But don't loose hope, often they can survive in the wild and someday find the way home. Had that with an cat after 4 months and some people after years.

@@DainsWife Some are found or returned years later. If the mountain is close, maybe you can use a drone with a cam, you can connect with your phone, so you can search. They're very affordable now a days. And if it's not for the cats because you can't find them it's great to be able to see the mountains. And you never know if you see the cats. Than you still need somebody to pick them up but maybe they're more willing if you know where they are... Just an thought. I need an drone too, and hopefully once an (for me less affordable) Telepresence robot, also with a cam. Because i can't reach further than one short, my street (invisible disability). And ofcorse we can search and ask around on the internet if they've seen our fury baby's. And next cat you can give an chip and a tracker, than you can see where they are. Some trackers are real good, in the city/village. But in the mountains i'm not that sure...

I had a German shepherd named Mocha that was 5 years old and I was her everything, and she was mine. I live on a huge property with mountains and wild animals, I live in the middle of a forest. Every time she has to go outside I put a leash on her bc she is super adventurous and would very likely see an animal and run after it. Once I had to go on a business trip and felt so bad leaving her home with a sitter. I forgot to tell my,sitter to put her on a leash to take her out side.... I was only gonna be gone for a day so when I got I back I asked where my dog was, she said outside. My blood went cold and my faced dropped. She asked what was wrong and I told her. She immediately started helping me look for her but no luck. Fast forward 2 years and started to lose hope. I had been looking for her 3 times a day every day since she went missing. But on February 6th I found her. She was soooo skiny and could barely walk. She was so excited to see me and tried to run to me but collapsed. I ran over and saw she was really struggling. I took her home but a few days later she was getting worse. I knew I should just put her down but I kept pushing the thought away. After a while I ended up saying my goodbyes and new it was best to put her down.
A year after I was still in so much grief, i always called myself a killer and that its all my fault. I got diagnosed with depression and had to go to therapy. I also thought about self harm many times... A few more years later what I thought was a gift sent from God. I found a German shepherd puppy right where I found Mocha. She had the same green eyes and white heart shaped spot on her chest. I named her Matcha, she opened up the last little bit of spirit I had left. I ended up fighting my depression and became so much happier. She looks and acts so much like Mocha. Sometimes I think that Mocha sent one of her puppies to me from heaven.
Don't lose hope, it may not turn out how you want it to but God always has a plan. I really hope you find your cats.❤

i fed my neighbors dog everyday one week when they went on vacation. Behind their backyard was a pathway to the park. everytime I walked by the dog would help and run up to the gate to say hello to me, it made me feel so special.
This is proof positive that the love you give animals will be returned ten-fold (if not more!)
I had a friend who was depressed because his wife had left and taken everything but his dog.
On his way home from work he determined he had nothing to live for so he decided, when he got home, he would just sit on the floor of his empty house and take his life…
As he prepared to go ahead he heard a faint scratching coming from the upper floor of his house. When he opened the door his best buddy came bounding out to greet him-wagging tail and all!
At that moment he new that there was a being on Earth that absolutely loved him without condition! He immediately decided that if his dog loved him that much there was no way he was going to abandon life and his faithful dog!
Literally, his dog saved his life!

No. Actually she hated the dog because the dog loved my friend.
She resented the dog and thought she was punishing my friend by taking everything but leaving the dog. As in; ‘Ha ha ha now you have to take care of this dirty beast!’
She was the most vindictive person I’ve ever met in my life. But, in the end, her actions totally backfired on her. But that’s not important. The key is she thought she was destroying his life, instead she saved it by leaving the one positive thing in their relationship to him.
Note: This isn’t the old joke about the wife leaving and taking the dog. This actually, in fact, happened. We worked side by side every day and I could see how, each day he fell into depression a little more because of what he had to face at home. I had no idea what to do or say to help him. I just tried to listen. The day after the event he said had made up his mind. He couldn’t take it anymore so he was just going to end it. Turn’s out that was the day she left. If his dog wasn’t there he absolutely would have taken his life. Instead, he came to work the next day like a 300 pound stone had been taken off his back. That dog literally saved his life!

Just remember there’s always someone (sometimes they have paws) who loves and needs you. You also have many people who you don’t even know that love you. You’ll certainly come across those people in your life so never give up looking.
Talk to the people you know and you’ll find that we are all very fortunate.

I once had a Cat that was poisoned by my neighbors (reasons best known to them), and she immediately got paralysed n couldn't walk, while she struggled for about 15-20 mins to survive but was dying. We called a vet bt he couldn't do much to save her. I literally watched her die in my arms. And it was one of the most painful things I've experienced in my whole life. I cried for days, she was the best cat in the world...I can write a whole book about her, n it would be a bestseller.

Thank you! This was BEAUTIFUL! When I went into the hospital I had to leave my pet with a friend she’d never met. When I was able to go get her, my kitty howled & cried like I was killing her for 3 hours & wouldn’t come out of hiding for 5 hours! She was breaking my heart! 💔 Then I was able to take her home. I never left her again, but for 3 days at a wonderful kennel who gave me daily reports & let me call my cat on my cell phone so she knew I wasn’t leaving her. Sadly, I just had to put her down on 9/6/23, 3 days before her 13th birthday. I love you dear, sweet Cosette! ♥️🐾🐾

We were away for 6 weeks one summer. When we returned, it took a moment for our cream colored Persian cat to realize we were back. Then, she rubbed against my young son's legs with such enthusiasm, that she ended up in a cartwheel (!), only to get back up and continue rubbing and purring until he picked her up!!! Joy on all sides!!!

One of my cats went missing for a day, when she didn't come home for dinner I knew something was wrong...
Fortunately, the next day she showed up... but with a deadly injury 😞
I immediately packed her up and took her to the vet. With some unorthodox stitches they saved my beautiful Maya.
Maya has always followed me around, she used to wait for me in the parking lot when I went out. Now I have made her an indoor kitty to keep her safe and she's pretty much turned into my shadow, always by my side.
Also, I'm not completely cutting her off from outdoors. I've built a nice little outdoor enclosure for her to play in and enjoy fresh air and plants.
I absolutely adore my beautiful cats and I pray for anyone who's pet goes missing to get them back in good health quickly.
Watching this makes me long for my 2 furry 4 legged little ones. Damn I miss Gizmo and Goofy. Their love is unconditional in all ways! Bless them and Mom on the truck doing the OTR thing!

Animals should be considered not just pets but also as humans because they showed so much affection in the most tiring days that we encountered, in times when no one cares, when we felt lonely. They deserved to be treated properly, they are wonderful creatures of God. If only they can say a word, they would be so much thankful for those kind-hearted caretakers and owners for they are loved unconditionally! We also have 20 lovely cats and we cried a lot when some passed away. Let's learn to celebrate life with them. They are SUPER AWESOME, A FRIEND, AND A MEGA STRESS-RELIEVER! 🤗💜

Anytime my family went on vacation all 7 memebers and returned home after a week or two….our dogs were so happy to see us always cooking them a huge meal upon return. Love you Suzie🐶😇miss you so much!

My dog always greeted me with kisses when I would come home from work. I got sick and she tried climbing on my lap to comfort me. I ended up spending two months in the hospital. When I finally got home I had lost 60 lbs. and she didn't recognize me. She was afraid to come near me. We finally got her to sniff me. She immediately knew who I was again and climbed on my lap and showed me a lot of love.

@@princesantos6900 Very unusual, but I knew an old gal who had a pet raccoon she'd taken in as a baby when it's mom died. I drove her home after church one night, and it ran out of the house when she opened the door, and it freaked me out because I couldn't make out what it was. So I yelled to her "what was that?" she told me it was her pet raccoon. She told me the backstory at a later time, but she took it to the vet, got shots for it, and took care of it like a regular pet.
@@ZippyThePinhead me too..I found her at about 1wk..left her for a bit to see if mom came back, never did..tried to call wildlife,they were no help..I had rehabbed other wild animals so I tried with her but she had other ideas..I took her to a vet, she is spayed and vaccinated..she sleeps with me every night and follows me around everywhere...she is 1.5yr now...she is my baby and I adore her 🦝🦝🦝🦝

Deborah, it can be true! My brother was in the army we have now a 15 year old cat. This cat was a little kitten when my brother took care of it. It was so small. When my brother went to Iraq, my cat was 2 years old it went silent and went in his corner do his own things I thought it was normal for a cat to be this way. When my brother came back to see him after 10 years in 2018. I busted out crying the cat ran so fast to him and jumped on my brother and snuggled my brother a lot! My cat now lives with my brother and his fiancé!

You did a very unselfish thing by letting your brother have the cat - but you put your feelings aside and were looking out for both of them when you did that! ❣️
