Fascinating. The road in St Petersburg is usually a main one-way street and the houses were mainly inhabited. There were 180 people working on filming this, and 6000(?) Russian extras including the blonde girl with the plaits. Substantially all explosions are real (there are three CGI ones in the film) - even the Reichstag party one is real. Inside shots like "Grawitz's house" are filmed in Munich but outside ones (like the window of Grawitz's house). Only the Wolfsschanze snow scene is Munich.
If? Most people had children at those times. There are probably little Burgdorfs running around somewhere. Yet we know nothing about them. This is frustrating. Especially because they could send me the wedding photo of their famous ancestor. I'd love to see it! I wonder when he and Erika got married. Probably in the 1920s, maybe 1930s.
The comment is made several times that the diversion of the traffic and co-operation of the residents could never have happened in the West. The road was closed for nine days and on five they filmed. Clearly it was raining at least once so they were very lucky. Money is not mentioned but with the attention to detail of the film it must have been a lot.
"They were even allowed to dig up the road!" How much did it cost? There is nothing you can't buy in Russia. This would have never been allowed in a "Western" European city.
Yes, if you google Albert Speer's mistress, you will also find my query. Just like if you google Felix Steiner's aftershave. I blame Degrelle! Mentioning a "well perfumed and happy Steiner" in his book and NOT giving us the name of the fragrance. That's just NOT NICE. And why can't we see any post-war photos of Waldemar Fegelein?! That's just RIDICULOUS or RIDIC like you Brits say. p.s. I suppose the hotel in London where Speer died (in the bed of his mistress) still exists?
I googled Kafurke and found your own query. He was obviously working for Siegfried Knappe before the war: amazon(dot)co(dot)uk/Soldat-Reflections-German-Soldier-1936-1949/dp/digital-features/0440215269 I suppose when some Untergangers get wound up about IP claims, they forget how it was Bernd Eichinger's wish for a most authentic film coupled with his legendary production ability that made such a great film. IMDB says the film's budget was $13.5m and much of this must have been spent in Russia.
WHO paid for the film? Did Kafurke's family call Constantin Film? Even in the script he's just called 'Adjutant'. Suspicious to say the least. Did Else Krüger's family call Constantin Film? She is missing from the film!!! Why are OUR generals so handsome?

The crates being taken into the Reichstag just before the "Fegelein Himmler Hall" scene contain the "Hitlerland" Germania model.
Не знал, что некоторые сцены снимали в Петербурге.
Wahnsinns Aufwand! Aber soll ja authentisch sein. Super Film, noch immer!
Wird auch immer ein super Film bleiben.
You're uploading it? Thank you so much! Tell me when it's uploaded! I love you!!!! Even if it doesn't have subtitles!! Much love, fellow Unterganger!

Ich habe eine Frage zur Szene mit den Galgen, wer genau hat da jetzt wen aufgehängt? Bei 8:25 sieht man jemanden mit einem Jagdhut, wer ist das genau?
Any subtitles?
Sehr interessant! Wäre echt cool wenn du wieder mal ein Videos machen würdest :)
"sorry that name is impossible to type"
That's why God (or someone else) gave us copy+paste.

No chance for CC subtitles?
..."but outside ones were filmed in St Petersburg"...
Are you SERIOUSLY asking Untergangers for subtitles lol?
I love it.
name of the street?

This would be one messy, dirty shoot for everyone. Must take a shower after each day!

"Hitler is informed that Fegelein has called the council health and safety inspectors into the bunker". !
