- I did Helluva Boss as a Horror Story ( • What if HELLUVA BOSS W... ) and got tons of requests to do a Hazbin Hotel Horror story next. I was very happy to oblige and got right down to it! In this episode, I tell the story of an unsuspecting Psych student applying for a job at an unconventional Asylum that may be more than she bargained for.
I redesign the core cast of the awesome Vivziepop animated series, Hazbin Hotel, into creepier versions of themselves; Angel Dust, Vaggie, The Radio Demon Alastor and of course Charlie Morningstar herself.

Yeah, especially with Angel. Us, knowing him, know that he's basically the equivalent of a large, excited dog when a new person comes to the door. He doesn't mean any harm. He's just curious and so caught up in his game of chase that it doesn't occur to him that he needs to CHILL!
I think a hazbin mech-armour episode would be cool. Sir Pentious, Alastor, Cherri Bomb and Husker (poker cat) seem like good choices.

Ya know, I remember going on the character instagram for Blitz and found out that he had a crazy friendship with a horse that was possibly a higher being. Blitz got coffee with it, you know the situation where a being from a higher plain of existence enjoys talking to a regular person? That’s what happened. I’m pretty sure the horse is more dangerous than the mount of one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.
That just makes me think of the Darksiders game series where the 4 horses of the 4 horsemen themselves are chatting with Blitz.

You REALLY hit it out of the park with this Hazbin horror story!
It was INSANELY clever of you to include static in the reveal of Alastair’s final design, just as you brought up the asylum glitching in his presence. It really makes the story all the more horrifying! Not to mention the extra details you gave to the detailed horror-adapted Hazbin Hotel characters:
Angel Dust’s dripping extra arms reaching to pull at his leering head; Vaggie’s skeletal frame and insectoid legs (emphasising her moth-inspired design); Alastair’s twisted toothy grin with radio dial eyes, and Charlie’s black-and-red body with flesh poking out from cracks in the plating and horns (not to mention the elaborate scorpion tail).

I think I figured something out that has made me an even bigger fan of Howie Honeyglow from Epithet Erased. He reminds me of an old folk hero that you would learn about in elementary school. Howie lives in a world where it’s more likely for someone with magic powers to get a job, so he made sure he does the work even faster than someone with magic, he represents being someone who does a job with everything they have, and he’s planning on an early death due to how hard he works himself. (seriously he plans on dying at 35) Give you three guesses which folk hero he reminds me of.

Can we take a minute to appreciate Christian's writing and acting? I've been a fan since before he started to do full story episodes, and he has improved by a lot! This story was really captivating, not mention how he was able to show so much emotion through vocals and acting alone. When Medra started to stutter in fear you could feel the fear the main character was feeling. Not to mention how he took multiple different storylines and is still weaving each new narrative into this ongoing multiversal mayhem of a ride. Christian, you have improved so much since I first subscribed wether that be acting, writing, and or art and I'm glad to be along for the ride.
I actually really like Charlie’s demon form she looks both threatening and kind of adorable at the same time I’m pretty sure this is what it would look like if we ever see it fully in the show
I love how you nailed Alastor’s sound design and I want to see Marvel/DC heroes as Horror Villains.

Some potential characters
- Korvo from Solar Opposites (The self-proclaimed head of a family of alien refugees, consisting of two adults and three juveniles, from a destroyed planet. Upon arriving to Earth, they immediately got into conflict with the local authorities and heroes, and they saw humans as too primitive to follow their laws. Korvo joined the Suicide Squad program after their capture to earn his family’s freedom.)
- Dick Dastardly and Muttley (Mercenary pilots and pirates, who occasionally engage in illegal street races. Geniuses in engineering cars and planes, and excellent pilots and drivers, and in the case of Muttley also possessing some impressive detective skills.)
- Brain from Animaniacs and Pinky & the Brain (One of two mice that, after being experimented on in a research for developing means to regenerate lost brain cells, developed an extreme increase in intelligence. One of them gained a below average level of human intellect, which is still extremely intelligent for a mouse, but the other has gradually surpassed even the intellect of the researchers, and has soon developed contempt for humanity, believing himself to be more qualified to lead humanity than the dimwitted humans who keep almost wiping themselves out on a daily basis. He gradually hijacked the laboratory’s equipment and other research projects, and launched a convoluted plan to topple the governments around the world an insert himself in their place. He was only stopped after the intervention of some of Earth’s heroes, and due to his intellect tried as a human. In captivity he managed to build himself a “human suit” which he now takes out on missions in an attempt to gain freedom one way or another. )
- Megamind (A veteran super villain, who recently managed to defeat and seemingly kill his longtime nemesis, earning the reputation of a hero killer, and the respect of the villain community. He however soon found that the demise of his nemesis has left him hollow, and he gradually began losing his drive, ultimately leading to his capture and introduction into the Suicide Squad. Here he found to constant life-or-death scenarios to somewhat fill in the void in his soul.)
- Anne from Amphibia (During a battle between heroes and villains, three regular girls got accidentally sent by the heroes into an alternate universe/alternate timeline/another planet. Here they got to face constant peril which on one hand toughened them up, but on the other hand also left them mentally and emotionally damaged. Anne even got captured and experimented on by a local tyrant, which eventually resulted in her gaining super human strength, but with the help of three natives she managed to escape, and in the ensuing chaos she and her three new companions got sent back to her home world. Disoriented, the group got into a fight with the authorities as well as the arriving heroes, whom she grew to blame for her predicament. She’s now being manipulated by Waller, who now dangles the possibility of saving the other two girls left behind in front of her.)
- Carmen Sandiego (World renown master thief and head of the V.I.L.E. crime syndicate, finally captured after a decades long manhunt. Despite that, she still appears very much in control of the situation, leading many to wonder if her capture was past of some grander plan.)
- Invader ZIM (Alien soldier that arrived to earth as part of a massive alien invasion that was stopped by Earth’s heroes. He got captured as a prisoner of war, and eventually drafted into the Suicide Squad. Still secretly awaits orders from his original masters, which might never come.)
- Reagan Ridley from Inside Job (A high ranking operative of the Illuminati, that in the official DC universe were founded by Vandal Savage, who was betrayed and used as a scapegoat by her superiors after one of their schemes got uncovered by heroes. She’s not biding her time and plotting to take down both the heroes that caused her downfall as well as her superiors that betrayed her.)
Other possibilities could be more Indie Game characters in Mortal Kombat, like for example
- Shovel Knight (a shovel wielding, possibly aquatic saurian, warrior, who joined the tournament to avenge a fallen friend)
- The Batter from OFF (a malevolent entity, possibly from Netherrealm, Orderrealm, or Chaosrealm, in the form of a human baseball player, who joined the tournament with the purpose to “Purify” the realms)
- The Penitent One (a monastic knight from Spain who, after his order was betrayed by some powerful entity, joined the tournament as part of a pilgrimage)
- “Jacket” from Hotline Miami (a hitman with multiple identities, each represented by a different animal mask and each possessing different abilities, who’s most recent mission lead him to the tournament)
Or another Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure video, some possible characters and 「Stands」 could be
Ed from Ed Edd n Eddy with「The Outfield」
Tulip from Infinity Train with 「Crazy Train」 and Jesse or Lake with 「The Passenger」

Something to turn into a horror story? My ideas:
-Final Fantasy (speaking as someone who did a short Final Fantasy Lovecraft story for Poptober)
-Digimon (the latest series in Japan shows them as ghostly creatures and the series has plenty of dark themes, so it's part-way there already)
-Supernatural themed cartoons (things like Scooby-Doo, Gravity Falls, Martin Mystery, etc.)
-Forgotten video game series (picture a nightmarish arcade or gaming cafe haunted by demonic versions of characters from once-major, now-dead franchises)
What about sesame street
Danganronpa or Persona 5
I’d always had this idea of a BTD6 horror episode, but don’t know how that would even work.

This was incredible. I love Hazbin Hotel a lot primarily for its comedic aspect despite being in a horror theme setting and I really love Charlie and Vaggie. So seeing you turn Hazbin Hotel characters into true horror story characters is perfect. I especially love Vaggie’s and Charlie’s designs the most. Angel’s design gives off a cool fiend type creature that’s a fearsome hunter from the underworld and someone I would not want to encounter at night, Vaggie’s designs gives off that of a cool demonic hunter and warrior that truly highlights her fierce nature and she would fit perfectly in a D&D campaign and she's Hispanic...and you never want to make a Hispanic lady angry, Alastor’s design just makes him look even more frightening and truly emphasizes on just how powerful and dangerous he his...like a true demon lord, Charlie’s makes her look like an even more fearsome and sophisticated but still has an air of beauty, mystery and kindness...she's definitely Lucifer and Lilith's kid. This was incredible and I’d knew you would try to do something with the characters from Hazbin Hotel, and I'm happy with the results. Plus, I’m down for more horror story themed videos. It would be interesting to see what more you could do with Charlie and the rest in one of your themed videos, like maybe drawing characters from Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss as superheroes or maybe D&D characters or even Witches and Wizards. I also can’t wait to see how Mara’s story continues in the multiverse tales episodes. Great job as always Christian and I can’t wait to see what you draw on Monday’s video.
P.s. do you think you could do a video of turning dinosaurs into mech armours? Cuz I want to see how Benny Sharp and Champagne McGregor would get along. Also do you think you could do a video we’re you turn Disney princesses into witches. Also could you try something with Apex Legends?

I have to say that this episode was rather interesting. My sister and I saw Hazbin Hotel and I think that you got the characters down flat. I think that what you did with Alistair the Radio Demon was pretty cool too as I wouldn't have thought of that extra bit of detail with the static-y look.
For another horror story themed episode, could you do Brightburn as a dragon along with other horror characters as dragons?

Good sir, other than thanking you for fulfilling this request of both myself and apparently many others, today you have left me absolutely speechless. From both your take on the stories for this and for your version of 'Helluva Boss', as well as obviously your incredible design ideas thereof, I would love to see more on each series' other characters and where you might choose to take your stories on them. The only thought running through my head from seeing Charlie (and remembering the previous video with Luna) is 'definition of a very confused boner, much?'. 13/10 all the way around.

I have an idea for the next video. It could be a skylanders training session for the students of skylanders academy. Basically my idea of the storyline is Ghost Roasters backstory from the POV of the skylanders. The students mission is to save one of their teacher (or fellow student, your choice) HEX from a mission gone wrong when she encountered a newly dead Ghost Roaster

As an idea, you could make your own pokemon (fakemon) for your own region, which could lead to a great story arc

My recommendation is turning childrens shows into horror stories, like Telletubbies (which are already scary as hell…) Dora the explorer, Rugrats…. Etc.
Basically any show with highly intelligent talking kids is ripe for horror, because talking toddlers must mean possession or fairy swap or something like that.
It would be incredible seeing some nostalgic kids shows given a new and spooky like if your awesome style!

You know, you could do the legend of Zelda: twighlight princess as a horror story since it is one of the creepier games in the series. For that you could turn Link into a werewolf and Midna into a little demon that constantly follows him. And if that is nothing for you, then how about turning famous superheroes into Minecraft mobs?

I loved this story and the designs were epic
10:50 "You know why you're here" is such a great line. On the one hand, they know they were brought here to work as a psychiatrist in a mental hospital, but on the other, it could reffer to the thing involving their father, which given their fear, would likely be their first thought, the job being forgotten in their terror.
The designs look awesome! I think Charlie and Vaggie look the best!👍👍
