    This defending session develops an understanding of when to press and when to drop off, encouraging tactical awareness, communication, and great execution.
    In this conditioned small-sided game players must translate the defending skills from the rest of the session to a realistic match scenario.

    Having a sweeper is not a good idea cause the amount of times players won't be offside

      said 4 years ago but hey... sweeper is just part of the drill to teach defenders to drop off when ball carrier is free.. in a match he could be anyone.. but most likely centre half or CDM
