Seven In Seven - The inside story

- On 1st December 2020, legendary Leeds Rhinos captain Kevin Sinfield set out as part of a small team of six to run seven marathons in seven days to raise funds to support his friend and former teammate Rob Burrow, who had been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease a year earlier, and the MND Association.
Sinfield set the target of completing each marathon in under four hours with the aim of raising £77,777 for Rob Burrow and the MND Association. By the time they had finished, the fund raised over £2 million. This is the inside story of the week long challenge.

100%....especially with the news this morning that the self serving Lewis Hamilton is to be made a knight of the realm. This man epitomises all that is good in (most) humans.
A very serious man helping his friend fighting a very serious disease. May everyones gods bless these men. Legend.
Rob Burrow is a Legend so is Kevin Sinfield, these guys are something else! in fact all Rugby League players have a special quality. They are always there for each other no matter what. I have nothing but admiration for them all.

Thank you so much Sir Kev, what you have done is magnificent and for such a worthy cause. Robbie Burrow and his lovely family so deserve all the help we can give after Rob has given us Rhino fans his everything for so long on the field. And the awareness of this terrible illness is now increased tenfold.

I'm not a rugby fan I'm into football n boxing but this story has touched me big style over last few months n had tears of sadness but also joy how people in rugby community have come together it's fantastic Kev sinfield doesn't want a knighthood not that sort of bloke most people who get them don't deserve anything as system is totally corrupt god bless rob Lindsay n children n all his family n true friends that he's obviously got

Rename the South stand at Headingley the Burrow - Sinfield stand
Good idea that. A bit long of a name isn’t it. I think the South stand should be called Rob Burrow stand and the North should be Kevin Sinfield stand.
