Simply trying to do their jobs and make things a little better if they can. People forget that cops are just hooman like everyone else. This doesn't excuse nor diminish the impact of racism or violence, there are over 300 million Americans on this soil. Black Americans make up about 40 million of that population. Every day millions of Americans have contact with police with zero incidents. The ones that we are made aware of are a very small percentage. Even if we give, with valid reason, a bigger percentage of incidents occurring, it would still be very low as a whole. The only organization that needs to be investigated is the DOJ & FBI, people seem to have already forgotten that both of these departments just had extremely large corruption allegations brought against them, with sworn witnesses testimony from insiders at both departments & laptops, hard drives & documents as evidence. Corruption that spanned all the way up to the executive offices. But now, that seems to have just been forgotten & disappeared. It makes you really realize how corrupt or media has become also, corruption at the DOJ & FBI should be front page news that gets covered for months & months, but you don't even hear a mention of any of it. Our government has been corrupted beyond measure & thr media just helps the criminals hide it. Meanwhile Americans don't even seem to notice, they're too busy blaming the other political party for everything that's wrong in the world. It amazes me how incredibly ignorant most people are and the worst part about it is the fact they don't even know, they see themselves as enlightened & intelligent. They can't even see they're hand in front of they're face

@@lorrainelloyd7750 I knew some uneducated racist bootlicker would come, begging to be destroyed. Now everybody gets to enjoy watching your bs argument get blown up. First of all, idiot, from the very beginning, Black people were targeted by the police long before any of us could move freely enough to commit crimes. See, if you were educated you'd know that the very first police officers in the US were tasked SOLELY to hunt down and capture escaped slaves who were seeking freedom. Yep, the police began as a unit of White racists who relished the job of preventing another human being from being free. Next, after freedom was granted, states needed free labor, so the government falsely accused and convicted Black men of crimes just to keep a supply of workers for chain gangs, who built roads, rails and infrastructure still used today. Next, J. Edgar Hoover targeted strong Black leaders in an effort to halt their influence on the Black community during the Civil Rights era, effectively taking the strong productive male out of the home and leaving the women to fend for themselves. When these men came home, they were faced with trying to get a job while being Black and a felon. On false charges. Next, the CIA led effort to flood the Black community intentionally with guns and drugs while not locking up the White/Latino suppliers decimated our communities. Lastly, your logic is stupid based on the FACT that White men shoot and kill cops far more than Black people, so if the cops had any reason to be aggressive towards anybody, it should be them, not us. See, in this case the chicken came before the egg. Cops started out abusing and killing us long before any crime was committed by a Black person, and nothing has changed. I believe the state still hasn't removed the arrest from the man's record, keeping him from returning to his former employment, even though the state apologized for the arrest & admitted it was just Krispy Kreme donut glaze collected in the evidence bag. Our justive system system is just a broken system of lots of bullying & subjective enforcement, & I'm completely astonished that more middle class, white people can't see that or don't care because they wrongly believe they could never be victimized by it, but look at Mr Krispy Kreme donut glaze.

Well the supervisors should bear some responsibility for not doing something about chauvin's excessive force complaints. Then maybe George Floyd would still be alive
U need to bear responsibility for being so cute where tf is your husband women
Hello Audrey
How are you doing today
He, like many others, got away with it the first time, the second time and so many other times that they thought they were untouchable.
@@clipzshia Until the judge read the guilty verdict on all three counts.
Wow! This guy just has a bad habit of being free with his hands and knees. Hope they get him on more charges.
Blood coming out the ears means he hit this kid hard enough to rupture his eardrum.
-- DOJ needs to go through his entire arrest record and charge him for every excessive use of force.
You are correct. He may have ruptured his eardrum. BUT, He may have done much worse. Blood will also come out of a person's ear if their skull in itself is cracked. Honest truth. Saw it, learned it, seeing a car accident long long ago. Not a good thing!
Glad he got some return karma.
Definitely if the kid needed stitches as well
@@user-fb6ti9hi9r it actually requires brain surgery. The brain will most likely swell if the strike was enough to crack the skull, through being juggled, like in a concussion. It can kill a person, or give them lifelong brain damage. Hope Chauvin gets the maximum sentences available. He needs to be held accountable for his power thirsty monstrous soul.
That's why Chauvin looked as if he was in the "TWILIGHT ZONE" while taking all those notes. Federal charges should immediately "PROCEED."
He was just doodling.....He knows what he did, no notes needed!!! He didn’t want the jury to see his cold, dead eyes so he pretended to take notes!!😡🤬
@@lindahudson6826 dead eyes ....you could see evil when he was on the late Mr. Floydd. Scary ...
He wasn’t taking notes, just pretending for the jury!!!! Didn’t want them to see his evil eyes!!! Sentencing should equal the crime!!👀👀👀
I believe it was suicide Notes 😳🤫
What’s done in the dark WILL come out in the light.👏👏👏👏
Funny how they allowed Floyd's past interactions with police and addiction history into evidence, but not the person' on trial.
Still weighing to bring charges?!?! Wtf?! Y’all let this man get away with doing that to a 14 year old?!?! Smh
Had they fired him George will still be alive! That’s another lawsuit possibly for the Floyd family.
@@iceman1272 sadly with systematic racism another officer or white man could have killed Floyd and walked.
STFO BITCH
White lives matter!!!!!
Police LIVES MATTER!!!!!
Bottom line....he's off the streets. Now onward to get other rogue/bad cops off our streets. The time is long overdue for these changes. Too many people have died at their hands.
This MPD needs to be investigated and cleaned out. Something is not right about the organization.
@StillLogic Police George didn't kill anyone. He did wrong and no one said he didn't. He has no one's blood on his hands. Can you say that about Chris Watts who murdered his pregnant wife and his two daughters by throwing them in that oil tanker? Josh Powell who blew up his two boys into bits and wife's body has never been found? Have a seat.
Once you expose a tyrant you can only imagine what the bad stuff they were doing before you knew who they were really was
Imagine if it had been the asian cop on the scene that drew grunt duty and had to pin floyd?
"Convicted murderer Derek Chauvin" - It's been a long, hard year but those are still sweet words to my ears.
Music to my ears I tell you..
I like how “convicted murderer” sounds. This also proves exactly why he needed to be put away. They will certainly use those complaints in the Blakely Hearings to get his sentence longer.
That judge tried his very best to get a not-guilty verdict. Let's not ever forget that.
Imagine if it had been the asian cop on the scene that drew grunt duty and had to pin floyd?
No he didn't and what hell your going to do? your are dumb AF .. justice isn't defined as a guilty verdict..
You probably don't even realize that..

Actually I think the judge did well because now they can't say the jury was biased. Let's see what the judge will do at sentencing but so far I feel he has done a great job.
I so agree" but im still kinda worry about him just a little bit. But in eight weeks well see" 🚔
The defence could have used this to say that the kid lived after 17 min. But if he had gotten in trouble from that, maybe George Floyd could have been prevented
They never said he had his knee on the kids neck so maybe that’s why he survived 🙄
My exact thought
I knew this thing was a horror story. He doesn't deserve to have a name only a number. I hope the Judge throw the book at him, give him the max on all charges. May he rot in prison.
Did you know the jail where Chauvin was housed had black sheriff deputies clean his cell prior to his arrival. Not inmates under supervision, deputy sheriff. And then barred from being on the floor while he was there. I am sure once he is charged with the Feds he will likely be sitting pretty in one of those golf course like facilities we hear about. To some including law enforcement Chauvin is a hero that should never have been charged/prosecuted.
He will definitely get the ROD!!

Of course he did more. He was soooo comfortable sitting on George. This was definitely not his first time. I said this the first time I saw the video.
Kneeled on his wife too

Exactly I agree
All of them were for him using his gun
Chauvin has at least 22 complaints before the incident with Floyd. How many times was he disciplined in all those 22 times? Once. Other people are coming forward speaking about how Chauvin used the knee on the neck choke hold saying, "That could have been me."
@FENTANYL FLOYD why you so obsessed I’m defending a fucking loser cop. Attacking a teenager if I did that I’d be in jail for GBH and spend a long time in jail. He probably did it a million times. Take the badge off and he’s a weak man send that man to jail
Just sitting here shaking my head , the department needs investigating they all have blood on their hands
That’s why people were trying to defund the police!
This dude was getting away with this for too long... All darkness will be brought to light! ✌🏽
That is good that the incident is being looked into by Department of Justice.
So I really hope the investigation of the police finds out who ignored all 17 complaints and let Chauvin keep working. Someone else is responsible for that.
Had Chauvin been fired Floyd would still be alive!!! 🥵🥵

Be quite interesting if they were both dealers there.
I never understood why on the body cam footage of the other officer as Chauvin walks up Floyd see's him and says oh man I know that officer or that officer knows me man and then he started flipping out about going in car. Why was this not a connection?
Serial killers in police aren't uncommon

I seriously doubt Derek Chauvin is "a first time offender" but possibly the first time he was video taped on one of his typical day of policing.

They should’ve brought it all up! They brought up a hell of a lot about George Floyd’s past. And George wasn’t even on trial.
well -- you cannot hide from the fact that George was an evil man for a very very long time. When are the Cops going to kill someone who doesn't have a rap sheet with 25 convictions on it and we can justify our outrage ?
Exactly, Chauvin is an actual murderer and was allowed to get away with it by corrupt cops
