If you can get people to take off their rose colored glasses and to read what Scripture actually teaches about the depravity of man, everything else falls in place. My wife and I were having a discussion about the total sovereignty of God and she made the statement that “ it would be easier to take the sovereignty of God if we didn’t have kids and grandkids.” I completely understand her view, who wouldn’t? But whether you have a bunch of kids and grandkids or not doesn’t change what Scripture teaches. He is Lord over all or He’s not Lord at all….He is sovereign over everything but yet all mankind is responsible to respond to the gospel call. You don’t have to totally understand it to believe it.

The reason you talk about them is because if you talked about something substantive, no one would ever come to listen to you. You talk about things that are intended to outrage and alarm people to get views, and book sales.
