But her surprisingly cute personality won me over and now she ain’t going anywhere! And she is best pals with marina tutu and flora which is amazing, especially considering there more girly girls and she’s a jock through and through lol

He moved into my town shortly after my grandpa died. He had a moustache like my grandpa, he made me laugh, was super kind, and always got me a gift like my grandpa did. He's like a second grandpa to me.
It's why I freak out when I saw him in the campsite in NH. He's now my favorite villagers on my island.

I always think its really sweet when people’s favorite villagers are the “not pretty” villagers. There’s usually a story behind it or a connection that can’t really be explained and that’s incredibly wholesome. Everyone’s playthrough is different and tbh i enjoyed acnl a lot more than acnh in terms of just playing with the villagers and how they interact and are written. For some reason acnh feels so much. Less. In anycase! THIS IS CUTE AS HELL

Hazel and Rory were my starting villagers. (Spoiler alert: I still don't like Rory). I despised Hazel. As time went on, she gave me a ton of gifts, and I really liked them. She was really nice to me and my villagers. Now she's one of my favorite villagers. My sister wants me to kick her out, but I will never kick her out.
My favorite villagers (besides Etoilé) are Rosie and Skye because they were in my very first animal crossing town, Cutetown. Eventually the 3DS it was downloaded on fried so I had to restart, but ended up getting Rosie and Skye AGAIN in N64land, so I figured that it had to be fate.
I ended up getting Rosie’s amiibo card with the one Wii U game (it also came with Goldie and Stitches) and got Skye’s in a pack for Christmas, so now they’re with me yet again on Mistdale- Rosie and Skye are pretty for sure but my love for them goes deeper than them just being cute- I’d pick them over any other villager, any day.

I had a similar thing with Hopper. I hated him cuz he was mean and ugly so I tried everything to get him to leave. Plot twist: It was Ellie’s birthday and I went to the party. The only other villager there was, you guessed it, Hopper. It melted my heart to see the most mean villager be there for Ellie’s birthday. I decided that Hopper needed to stay. From that point on, he went to every birthday party for every villager. HE EVEN WENT TO MY BIRTHDAY! I love him. He asked to move a few months after Ellie’s birthday, I didn’t let him cuz he showed me that even the even the darkest of places can still share the light

When I first started playing, I didn't know Tom Nook would fill the houses if you didn't fill them yourself, so I wound up with Gaston. He was so scary to me that I was going to try to get him to go away as soon as I could, but then I realized that he is such a precious old curmudgeonly uncle and he became my favorite villager so quickly!
Did they stop doing this? I had a villager move out, didn’t play for a few months, and the plot was still empty when I played recently.

I love the spicy villagers who aren't all cutesy. They have so much adorable personality in their faces. Plus the rare villagers thing is kinda silly. You have the same chance to get any villager. Raymond isn't rare, he's popular, just like fang, marshal, meringue, and ankha. There's just more demand for them as opposed to beardo or dizzy.

I adore Phil! He was my first ever smug. At first I was mad, because he moved right behind my house in New Leaf, but I quickly grew to love him. He was so colorful, with fun dialogue that really seemed to suit him, and a great house. Love his animation and facial expressions. I was super happy when my first pack of Amiibo cards had him in it. My mom actually used my card for him in New Horizons, and now I get to visit him on her island.
