Yes, I love carrying my everyday axe and my everyday knife especially when going from my home to my work in my car on the highway just to get out in my garage, but you never know there might be a surprise tree in the way you have to cut down.

You know those junk dealers with all the pots and pans hanging from their mule cart in cowboy movies? That's what this edc lifestyle reminds me of. Carry everything you've ever owned all at once on your person.😂😂😂

When I first joined the company I work for there was a guy whose belt was festooned with every gadget you could think of. It was a real Batman belt.

My favorite part is how there were four different blades (Leatherman, Gerber, Japanese knife, and an axe) so this guy suggests carrying three different knives, and a small hatchet.
Seriously though, just carry a Swiss army knife or that leatherman Micra on a key chain and you're all good.

The EDC Community has been split between practical EDC and people that carry stuff they will never use... Why carry a Insta360 when everyone phone has decent cameras now.
It's very niche but has a purpose for some people, Id say the EDC community is mostly normal still but has hashed out the brands and items it likes pretty well, youtubers who make these videos for a living have run out of ideas and are now showing off some of this stuff for content, I mean seriously how many benchmade knifes and sure fire flashlights and leatherman multitools can you show off before your out of video ideas.
I think recording your day hands-free seems like a nice convenience, good for recording your runs etc?

EDC is sorta silly, but i use a small tape measure multiple times a day, the Shinola pocket measure is so good! Just pricey. Small as a quarter its awesome
The iMini is already outdated, they have an iMini 2 with a rechargeable battery, and the keychain loop doubles as the usb plug
the original iMini using button cell batteries completely killed it for me.
I got the swiss card lite and its everything i need. My Wallet acts as a bottle opener. Maybe i carry a knife as well but thats quiet all it needs.

They are more like a collection of “edc” items than an actual edc. And Im ok with that. 😂 Just like toy collectors, it’s just fun to collect them.

I don’t believe the actual split ring itself is titanium. Flytanium appears to sell titanium split rings, but they look different 👍
You can use a magnet to tell, if its magnetic then its steel, if its not magnetic then its titanium, its probably steel though, which is better for keyrings
This is one of the best selection of EDC gear I've seen a long time. Pretty realistic, apart from the axe.
Only in America could you see a nonsmoker carrying a 30$ titanium waterproof lighter that they will never use

@@MrWesleysnyps i have a very short usb c cable, a usbc-usba adapter, usbc to micro and a usbc-lightning adapter in a small capsulle like the one at 13:12
So you only need 4 items to mimic all the 6 cables.

The Japanese company OLFA make a better knife solution than that in the video.
Their brass "box cutter" is thinner and extremely sharp while being ridiculously strong due to the single blade edge. It also locks the blade with a brass twist knob.
